"The last of the toys will be here in a couple days. Leave them for you or set them up?" Di looked around the room, a real bump quickly beginning to show under the green dress.
"Set them up. Do I look alright?" Jade had chosen a classic red dress for the day. It was stunning on her.
"You look beautiful. Mom had a box made for you, and I want you to use this. If you want to." The dark haired woman took the boxes and opened the one on top.
"The veil." Jade smiled.
"There's a trick to making it stay put, I can help. Took me an hour." Di pulled away her friend to get ready. "We have an hour to make this perfect. It is going to be perfect."

"Drink, honestly." Roy felt a glass being put in his hand. "Never seen you like this."
Roy downed the contents of the glass and saw Oliver fill it again.
"He's getting married, this is how people act. You were the weird one." Diggle laughed. "Last one. Slurred vows don't count."
"Will it be fast, he won't drag it out?" Roy looked at Digs. "Like last time, with you?"
"Both of you, it's not torture. Its a joyous ceremony." Digs scolded.
"It's putting off locking down the perfect woman." Oliver smirked. Roy gave a high five in agreement.
"Whatever it is it's starting now." Adrien walked in and fixed the grooms jacket. "Go easy on the man, Oliver. You didn't know you were getting a kid when you got married. You look wonderful Roy."
"Mia." Oliver retorted. "Did to. What counts as more difficult, toddlers or teenagers?" Adrien lightly hit his shoulder.
"She's ready." Di said, beaming as she saw the members of the room. Oliver beamed and picked her up, she laughed.
"None of that!" Adrien said as he put her down. "Feet on the ground till the baby gets here."
"Baby police again." Di stuck out her tongue. "She's gorgeous, you'll love it Roy."
"She's always gorgeous." Roy said, standing up, he was going to loose his nerve.
Adrien chuckled. "Keep saying things like that and you'll be fine."

"Roy Harper and Jade Grant for the two pm." Jade said shyly to the clerk.
"Yes, right here." The woman clicked in the arrival. "And party I see."
"Just the immediate family and friends." Roy added quickly.
"It's fine, there's plenty of room." The clerk smiled. "They look excited."
Behind them the rest of the family were rather loudly waiting for direction. Di and Adrien were talking with the girls, including Cissie who had been invited with her father. Diggle and Oliver were talking to Anderson who had seen the family walking to the courthouse and inquired as to why. Di had even guilted Ted into showing up and Bravebow had taken the day off. Shado and her team were guarding the holds.
"It's a happy occasion." Jade grinned, feeling very warm to have so many people.
"It is." The clerk handed them a form and a card. "The form is filled in by you, the judge and two witnesses. The card gets you in the room, congrats."
The party gathered in the room and waited a few moments for the judge. Anderson spotted his arrival first.
"David!" Anderson cheered.
"Now I know some of you are already married, some of you are unattached, and some of you are too young. Which leads to Mr. Harper and Miss Grant, a moment. The rest of you can sit down." The judge waved at Anderson and motioned to them.
Jade looked at her fiancé and walked over, concerned.
"Not nixing this, but I always take a moment here. I know the family over there means well but weddings make families go crazy. Are you really ready for this? There's no shame in thinking things through." He smiled kindly.
"I am." Roy grabbed her hand, the question actually helping. "Jade is everything to me, and I was an idiot and had to find that out the hard way."
"I'm fine, really Roy." Jade looked down but smiled. "I still can't believe it, after the haven, but this is real. I'm sure. I'm really, really sure."
"The outreach, I thought that might be the case. We all need a wake up call now and again. Call your witnesses. Finish the form, and we'll give our friends a show." The judge motioned to the table and grinned, .
Roy grabbed his better half's hand, mostly to steady himself. Jade waved to Oliver and Dinah, and the two scrambled over. The form took only a moment and they waved the judge back, Ollie and Di standing nearby.
"Looks solid. Poetry or practical?" The judge asked when he arrived.
"Practical." Roy replied. "We're having a big event later."
The practical version took two minutes and was quick and clean, a good thing as Roy was having trouble breathing from nerves. Jade seemed to be fine. She turned the kiss into something more then he expected, and he didn't complain. She was his, he had somehow gotten the most beautiful woman it the world. Coming out of the kiss he found they were surrounded by the others. All he saw was his better half smiling up at him, the nerves were nowhere to be seen.
"Mine." He fell into her chocolate eyes and held on tight. "All mine."
Jade didn't say anything but wrapped her arms around him and clung tight. He felt tears on his neck. She had had a hard time believing she was really cherished after her experience with Tommy's father. The first order of business was making it very clear that was indeed the case.
"Now you promised a full family, Mrs. Harper. That includes a son." He said softly as she nodded, still crying. "I say we call dibs, what about you?"
"Hell yes." She said, voice firm with resolve. "Thank you."
