Thanks. Dawn's time will come. She was never the Chosen One, just someone of great interest to those in mystical circles, and that will come into play again. Hell, it almost makes sense considering how many comic series and stories there have been with Chosen Ones that my series gets to have two, as it were. Everyone's a Chosen One in their own way. In their own, not that Chosen way.

I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter, but it still kind of strange that Lori alone even with her magic-stealing powers was able to fend off the infinite demonic hordes.
My only other issue was with Billy Battson. I get that without Shazam he's just a kid, but he seemed kind of "special ed" in his first and only appearance here. Billy as a character that always struck me as brave to the point of fault, even without his Captain Marvel persona. Here he seems kind of pathetic without his better half and makes me wonder why the Wizard would choose him.
That being said, Lori was done well. Her random power shifting was fun to read, and at least the demon hordes are over for now. That was starting to get old to be constantly harassed by demons everywhere.

Yeah looking back I realized I began the way I ended DK. Demon hordes. I realize Lori's story seems a bit similar to Dawn's, but there are and will be differences.
As for Billy, obviously there will be answers coming. I'd just ask that you wait and see. I wanted to do something different without going nuts, so Captain Marvel is very much the one we know, but Billy has some changes.
Thanks for the review!
