"Two of them. We are going to have two of them." Roy leaned on the counter as he tied to make it to the coffee pot just a few more feet away. Newborn Gage's crying had woken Tommy several times the nights preceding and the infant had only been home a week. "I think we're moving, Jade save the classifieds. Two bed, two bath, I would prefer a garage. Good school system."
"Don't be over dramatic, its just a baby. It'll pass in six months or so." Jade got the mug ready for her husband, having cared for an infant herself she wasn't as phased. "You might want to consider taking notes in the first place, for later."
"Please, later." Thea groggily joined the group, Mia behind her. "Three at once would be cruel. Today is practice, right?"
"At ten. Though Bravebow mentioned doing something different." Roy happily took a sip of the brew. " You'll be using the range here. The storefront is closed for the time being. He's setting up the areas now, doing something special."
"Mid-air targets." Mia filled in, actually chipper. She had happily stepped in to help with the newest arrival, calling the experience 'practice'. "Ollie is helping teach us. Dinah's baby is three months away, right?"
"Closer to two and a half but that stays away from the press. We're trying to convince them this is a honeymoon baby born early. " Adrien walked in and smiled at her "We want him to get the full baking time, patience Mia. We have plenty to deal with till then, who's going in today?"
"That's us." Jade drained her mug before standing up. "Just fueling up. Roy?"
"Lets go. We need to keep security locked down, too much to loose now."
>--)->
"Servers are on lock down and I have the surveillance feeds going full time. We'll catch whoever this is." Adrien was looking over check lists and security systems. "And possibly hire him on."
"Roy, keep her. She's awesome." Jade laughed. "What do the police say?"
"Anderson went fairly pale, but he appreciated the heads up. He wants information for a warrant but Merlyn's lawyers have barred anything but a named source." Roy smiled at her as he worked on his phone.
"Man is smart, have to give him that. Just wish he wasn't." Diggle was driving the crew. "I called in a few favors and got a few sweeping crews from the old days, buildings are secure. We should be solid for now-"
The car rattled as a blue pick up truck rammed into the back corner of the car, before quickly running off into out going traffic. Diggle's features turned focused and he took a sharp turn to the next lane before a red minivan did the same.
"Everyone buckle up, this will not be a smooth ride." The car took a sharp right onto the left lane as a SUV began to noticeably trail them.
The first impact had loosened the back tire which made the top teir speeds unnerving at best. The blue pick up appeared again and nearly got the front left corner before digs pulled a circle and wove into oncoming traffic. The SUV tried to use the new direction to hit the main engine and barely missed.
"How are we doing?" The bodyguard said without looking back.
"Small bumps, go." Adrien said, gripping the door handle tightly. She was focused as well and contacting emergency vehicles. "We need a high security area."
"Got just the one in mind." Digs turned a reversal and, once again driving into traffic, got back onto the highway. Two pickups instantly appeared and tried to cage the hybrid in. Quickly breaking they lost him as he moved the car into a turn lane. He spotted a traffic copter over head. Reinforcements were on the way.
The turn lane was a back entrance to the local hospital complex, generally used for loading docks. An army of police were nearing the complex as well to apprehend the drivers, Diggle wasn't convinced they'd catch any.
They pulled into the central lot as a circle of black sedans encircled the hybrid, safe. He leaned back to check on the passengers.
"Still holding up?" He said.
"We're solid, how about you-Adrien!" Jade screamed, and clung to her husband. Roy was watching, speechless.
Slumped against the window Adrien had been shot several times. They had avoided the cars but not the sniper.
>--)->
"They say we can visit, but she won't be responsive." Oliver sat down next to his sister. "Di wanted a moment to talk to the doctors, figured you wouldn't mind."
Thea shook her head and took a deep breath. Adrien had been their rock when their parents died, she had stepped in to be a mother to Di when she had begun missing and needing her mother lately, facing motherhood herself. Even Roy had listened to her before he listened to anyone else after he arrived. She was unthinkable to loose. Not a hero, or even a fighter, that she would be targeted had not occurred to anyone.
Mia was in the corner of the waiting room, curled into a ball and had been largely non-responsive. I was a feeling Thea understood, the inner storm could leave little room for outside reactions. The still too thin teen was using the breathing techniques that she had been taught but they weren't very effective. She needed Dinah.
The woman appeared shortly and pushed herself into the room, frowning grimly. She wheeled over to the siblings.
"Hey." She said softly. Oliver wordlessly grabbed her hand. "They said no more then two people at a time, I thought you might want to go together. You have more history with her then anyone."
"Does she have much time?" Thea gathered the courage to ask the question she had been avoiding.
"Maybe, maybe not. The bullet hit the spinal nerve, cut off contact to the brain colum for sometime. Once we're done they're going to induce a coma, see how much the system will reboot itself but they said not to get our hopes up. She also has serious damage in other areas so the prognosis isn't good." Oliver flinched as Thea did the same, Dinah sighed. "I'm sorry. I'm too used to this, that was crass. Forgive me, I really do get how hard this is."
"I know, it's just very raw." Her brother gripped his wife's hand, Di had spent over a year dealing with her mother's failing health. Their own parents had been taken suddenly and without warning, it was two different experiences. She would be able to put more distance between herself and the situation. "Mia needs you, we'll take our turn."
Di nodded and wheeled over to the blonde teen, who quickly cuddled in close. Thea followed her brother into the hallway to the room Adrien was being stabilized in.
She was on oxygen, with a breathing tube and several IVs . The monitors beeped nearby and a nurse was checking information on the computer nearby. He left them alone when he noticed them.
"Can she hear us?" Thea swallowed and looked at him.
"I don't know." He held the hand. "Hey Adrien, we've done everything we can on our end. You have to fight now, you can do it. You're needed here, no getting away from us yet."
"You'll miss Robby." Thea said and fought tears. "He'll be here soon. You have to tell him embarrassing stories about his dad as a kid."
Thea and Oliver sat in silence for a time after, watching the sleeping breaths. After a time he pulled her away and let the next group, Roy had brought his wife and son, get their turn. It would be months before she got better, if she did at all. She would want life to go on.

"Has Ollie decided what the plan is yet?" Mia looked at her friends of the lunch table, with Di wheel chair bound and Adrien in intensive care they were eating the offered school lunch.
"He's playing with a few ideas. One of which is to send us, the Kane's and Di away. Keep us from getting hurt." Thea said and played with her pasta. "Di isn't having it."
"That's what that screaming was, I wondered. That woman knows how to hold her own. I don't see us leaving." Rose finished the milk. "When did he want to send us?"
"Next week. We'd stay with Di's aunt till this cleared up." Thea gave up on the tray and pushed it away. It wasn't bad, it was just one more change she didn't want. "Either that or he pulls us and we take classes at home for awhile."
"The manor is insanely secure. It might be the best plan." Cissie nodded, thinking.
"That's what Di said, I agree to. He just wants to clear it with the school, later today." The three nodded in agreement and looked around the lunch room. Since the attack and kidnapping the four had been outcasts, marked as unsafe by the others. It was deserved.
Lunch over they walked to the auditorium for a school spirit event. The staff, thankfully, were understanding and made sure to leave them alone as the principle unveiled the new security routines that, he assured, would keep the students safe.
"Middle of the road, but not bad." Cissie whispered to her friends. "Should be okay for two days."
Mia shrugged and sighed, always happier at home. The parade of officials continued to drone on, filling the two hour presentation.
"-I know these are challenging changes, but if they can stop there being another incident here at Star City Prep then they will be worth it." The security advisor nodded at the scared faces of the students. "File out by class, you'll be heading straight to sixth period."
The student body stood and a murmer began over the crowd. Thea stood up as Cissie and Rose gathered their things and pulled Mia from her seat.
"What if I called Di and asked to go home now?" She asked, forcing herself to stand.
"Diggle would be here in twenty minutes and then be told that without a reason we're here till after seventh. Almost there." Rose pulled her toward the asle where students were walking to the door.
Thea and Mia were leaving their lockers a short time after, heading to the last class of the day. The math class was three hallways away but they were in no rush to get there. The stress of the last several months was taking its toll. It was due to this distraction that neither girl saw the concussion grenade until it was too late to get out of the way.

"Jade, go. She'll go into panic again, hurry." Renee pushed her friend into the room where Dinah was burying her face in her hands, trying to calm down. News of the teens' injury had sent her into hysterics. Jade had been sent to get a safe sedative.
Roy was closing the door to Thea's room, crying despite himself, and carrying two cloth bags. Both her and Mia were being treated at the hospital and the family had gotten permission to bring a number of personal items to their room. They were stable but badly injured.
"Don't forget Mia's family frame." Kate said softly, carrying her sleeping daughter. "She looks at that thing for hours."
"I grabbed it, and Thea's statue from her mom. We're running it over. Hold things here?" He smiled sadly as Jade joined them.
"She's sleeping, but she's had it." Jade saw baby Gage and smiled slightly. "This needs to stop, he attacked children."
"We'll get him. Renee, could you be our ears at the station?" Roy knew he was asking the officer to leave her family. Kate looked at her mate and nodded, approving.
"I'll head out now, get the department in order. Let me know what you need." Renee quickly kissed the sleeping head and hurried to get ready.
"I'll keep an eye on Tommy and Di." Kate locked eyes with Jade. "Do what you have to."
Roy walked to the car and put the bags in the back seat as Jade joined him and put a larger bag next to the others. She wasn't happy.
"How bad." Jade could show him her true face. "How much did you give her?"
"Enough. Drive. Merlyn likes messages, so I have one for my sister." She polished the talon blades she pulled from the bag. "Tell Oliver I'm in. Retirement over."
"Hell ya." Roy drove to the hospital where Oliver waited. The man was speaking to the doctor and walked over when they arrived.
"They're stable. A good amount of midsection damage, but should recover fully in a month." He nodded at the bags. "They'll be out of commission though."
Rose appeared and wordlessly looked through the bags, before grabbing them and carrying them into the room. Looking inside he saw the girl set up the items. They were all resolved.
"So what's the plan?" Rose asked as she joined them. "Cause I'm doing something about this."
"As am I." Jade said, Roy nodded in agreement. Oliver's face turned serious.
"I have one line, he crossed it." He looked into the room, where two young teens were recovering from a bomb. Adrien was one floor down, still in critical. At home his wife and unborn son were at risk. "We attack, but we do it smart and make it count. We'll need your father, Rose. Would be willing to help?"
"He's been waiting for you to ask. When and where?" The teen nodded, and pulled out her phone.

None of the Aryans knew what hit them. As they all lay on the ground, alive but not by much, Slade threw his daughter a rag and pulled one out for himself. The ever ethical Green Arrow had only wanted to know Merlyn's back up was taken care of so the team could move onto phase two. Their condition wasn't inquired for.
After cleaning blades the two moved to the contact point, where he saw the archers taking out the watchmen and ground guards. They went down quickly, unaware of the danger until it was too late. No one spoke, each darkly serious. Eyes turned to Jade, who was in a full talon dress with blades she had never used in his knowledge before. She stepped into the shadows and faded away.
"Right. Deathstroke, Ravager, you know your dance partners. We have ours, see you on the other side." Green Arrow stepped back into the shadows with Red Arrow.
"For Thea and Mia." Rose gripped her hilts and looked into the grounds. "Blood will run tonight."
"Top corner, I'd bet on it." He smiled proudly. "Lets go."
They snuck to a shadowed part of the building and climbed the wall. The roof was lit but as they neared a light it would flip out.
That you Cheshire? Slade knew it wasn't Merlyn doing this.
Batwoman. I got keyed in.There's a man in the right back corner, but he's jumpy. You'll have to be careful. Batwoman was Kate, he had forgotten.
His daughter nodded, edging the surface. It was a smart idea, and he followed suite. The man was camped in a dark walled area, obviously a sniper, and scanning for new targets. Ravenger leapt over the ledge and landed on the gun, knocking it over and startling the gunman. He hurried to stand up as she savagely attacked him, getting in a few early shots.
The man hit her arm twice, causing her to pull back and fall. When he turned to leave Slade gave the man a slide slap and sent him to the ground.
"Wrong answer." He put a shot in both arms before pulling the young woman to her feet. "At least four more people to take out, not done yet."
Rose nodded and stood, blood running down her face, her eye had been injured in the fall. But she took a rag and covered the wound before pulling her blade and slicing both the man's legs.
"That's for my friends, you ass. Sadly your medical help might not come as quickly, good luck." She walked to the roof top door as her father reached to stop her. "We take these bastards out then I get help, care to make that happen sooner?"

Jade climbed along the dark walls of the ground floor as familiar faces wondered the house. Once, they had been friends, saviors in their own twisted way as she navigated the ways of light and dark. Now they were what they had always been, but she had been too blind to see.
The office was in the corner, and protected under padlock. The skeleton key, a well help secret of the talons made quick work of the lock. Inside were the computers and books she needed to fulfill the real mission, aside from revenge for the family.
She ran through the tips Dinah had told her, this really was her thing, as she downloaded the hard drives and accessed the clouds. Jax used the connection to grab information from the darkest recesses as she put the files and books in the canvas bag. The information was directed to the external hard drive.
That's all of it. Eyes and ears says there's a car by the back. Just get out safe. Jax's voice filled in.
Always the hard part. How is it going? The sounds of battle were clearly begun.
We have injuries, at least one that could be bad. You're the only one unharmed. Just get this info out so it's worth it. Jade froze, needing to know.
The serious one, who was it? Jax knew what she was asking.
Not RA, Ravanger. The sooner this is done the sooner she can get help, go.
Jade was already out the door. The papers made noise as she moved, and the house had begun to crawl with fighting, figures darting from room to room. She needed to get out.
"Our page returned to us. So glad to see you, Jade." She froze and took a breath.
"Vertigo, of course. Here for another spar?" Turning she saw the man was leaning on an ornate piller, smiling easily as ever.
"I liked our sparing." His expression recalled the funner aspects. "I learned all kinds of useful things. About a girl and a billionaire I had honestly never considered, rude not to visit when she's a friend of yours."
"You followed me." It was a statement.
"I followed the money, you just left the bread crumbs. It's so easy to get wrapped up in haven and Gothem. There are plenty of wonderful targets, without so much resistance." His eyes glowed darkly. "For those willing to travel."
She cursed herself. The rantings of a stupid, hurt girl had brought this down on their heads. All when she had been the guilty one, pushing away the only sister she ever had.
"Travel back." She glared. "This family is under my protection, and you know who I am."
"Yes, the other reason I'm here. Your mother is quite upset at your leaving. I don't think you asked permission." Her face burned.
"I don't need her permission, I never needed it. When I told her it was over that was more then she deserved." She took a step from the wall. "So you have a choice to make. Be killed by the Daughter of Shiva now or take a little message from me to her and hope she's in a good mood that day. I can assure you I am not."
"You wouldn't." Vertigo was nervous, she flexed her fingers, the finished nails causing panic in his face. "You swore off the assassins. You said you were done killing."
"Killing for hire, yes." Her grin matched the mask. "But you have three of my family in the hospital, any of whom could be lost. My husband is hurt, and I don't know how or how badly. This isn't for hire, this is for fun. Shall I kill you now, do you have a preferred solution?"
The man gulped and backed into the wall, white. She softly touched the small pouches on her belt, the deadly poisons of her craft. She tilted her face in question, and Vertigo nodded. He turned to leave when a forest green arrow hit in front of his face.
"I haven't given you leave." Green Arrow said, a second arrow aimed at the man. "We drew lots, however, and I didn't pull yours."
"I did." His red clad companion arrived. "I called in a personal favor, we need to talk."
She breathed easier as her husband nodded at her, assuring her he was alright. There was a small gash on his arm but it was shallow. He mouthed for her to go, and she took one last look before slipping out the back door.
>--)->
"Move, or I call my wife back." Roy kicked Vertigo's back as they entered the main hall, Oliver following behind. "I said move."
"It's over, Merlyn." Oliver said into the massive space. "Give up."
An arrow hit in the center of the floor, quickly filling the room with toxic gas. The two archers jumped out of the way and covered their faces with half masks. Vertigo got away from them in the confusion, and they put their bows at attention.
"You would be warned about that, a shame. Would have made this so much easier." The man, now clad in black with a bow of his own, walked down the grand staircase to the front hall. "It's not over by far, GA. I have more tricks up my sleeve."
"I know, the data wipe at the Tower took a few minutes but was canceled." Merlyn tried but failed not to look shocked. "The toxin at the Outreach was caught ahead of time and emergency personnel called in, it's being cleaned now."
"Distractions, do you know my real target Arrow?" Merlyn sneered. "It's not your shadowy VP, it's not the sweet little brats. All a path to the center of your world, the people I know loosing would break you."
-Um, the gate of the grounds have been overrun, Oliver. He's going after Di.- Jax was panicking. -What should I do?-
"Do it." Roy said, eyes burning. Tommy was still at the house as well. "I'll start this."
"Jax, put me online. Now." He waited for the beeps stating that he was fed into the system. "Program Alpha-4, stage one, commence."
Roy was leaping over the black clad man, and blocking side attacks and kicks. Oliver jumped in to help as Vertigo threw a second grenade into the room, releasing a second gas. A stronger version that even the masks couldn't stop completely. He kept blocking hits but could feel himself getting drowsy. They could only hold out so long, the calvary needed to get here soon.

PROTOCAL ALPHA FOUR. STAGE ONE. PLEASE FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS
Even on the top floor Kate could hear metal gates slamming. The voice continued to drone as she ran through alerts in her mind, alpha 4 wasn't one she knew. The screens of the computers started blinking, a timer flashing three minutes to something. There wasn't time to guess.
Di was out, still under the sedatives. Tommy had run out of his room to find her and was crying, pulling at her hand to wake her up.
"Love your instincts, kiddo." Kate hurried to shake her friend awake. Gage was awake and screaming, terrified. "Di, comon. Get out of the fog."
It took too long for her friend to come around, but the crying of two children and Kate's worried expression snapped her out when she did.
"Tell me." She pulled herself to sitting up, and picked up Tommy.
"Alpha 4, I don't know what - you can't do that! Get your chair!" Kate chased after her, for a woman pregnant on bed rest she moved fast.
"No time. Grab Gage, a diaper bag and whatever supplies you need." She had grabbed Tommy's bag and his personal items. "Then get in the bunker. Once it seals there's no getting out. Go!"
Gage was wet but Kate grabbed her. The bag was on the dresser, and her nursing blanket was on the floor. She made a mad dash for the room where Di was already at the console. As she ran in the door slammed in and a metal gate covered it.
"Shutting down and wiping local hard drives. The external gates would hold violent burglars there's no telling what Merlyn sent us." Di feverishly typed. "What I'd give to have Babs with us."
"What's going on?" Tommy was standing at Di's feet and hugging her leg. She began to change Gage.
"Alpha means home base is compromised. One is perimeter, up to six which means in the house and searching rooms. Four means on the ground and gaining entry. Have you been using the lock boxes for important papers?" Di looked relieved at her nod. "Good. All boxes have been sealed. We might have to replace and repair a few things but we're safe."

The hybrid was breaking every speeding law in the books, but the police cars escorting it had no problem with that. It stopped suddenly in front of the station and the departments lawyers and internal affairs ran out.
"It's all there, go." Two people hurried out of the car. Renee had sent the moles out on traffic duty ahead of time, meaning they could get to work.
"Great." Renee sprinted to her desk, Jade and Digs in tow. "How is it going?"
"Henchmen are out, we got the data. When I left they were dealing with the main two." The office was secure. Jade didn't know how to add the last part. Renee's cop instincts kicked in.
"And?" The officer pointedly asked, loading the hard drive.
"A second team stormed the house. We instated security measures but that cuts off feeds." Diggle said softly. "There's no way to know if they got to safety in time."
Renee sighed, barely staying back from the ledge. The desk was littered with framed pictures of the partner and daughter she had traveled half the county to keep save.
"I'm going to say a prayer that Di pulled a canary in the coal mine and knew to get them to safety." Renee said softly. "In the meantime you two resuit up and get the hell to the house to make sure that's the case."
Diggle nodded and pulled Jade away as the officer both loaded the information and said fevered prayers at the same time. Jade changed back into fighting gear in the back seat.
"Here's a fun question, if the house is in full lock down how are we getting in?" Jade slipped back into the front seat.
"The Townshed act." Diggle responded. "The Mr. And Mrs. Queen of the twenties were connoisseurs of fine wines and liqueurs. Everyone knew they were who you wanted to talk to if you wanted to get sauced up. They worked for Al Capone, got top shelf stuff for him. Made a mint on top of the mint they had already."
"They were mob bosses?" Jade felt her eyes to wide. "No way."
"Oh yes, sent more then a few bodies to the morgue. House is haunted as hell some nights." Diggle grinned a little at her shocked expression, the car still at top speed. "There are a whole system of back rooms and passageways. When Robert put the system in he left a fail safe, the deposit shaft that shipments were put in. It's a crank operated shaft, but it still works. We're riding it."
Jade tried to shake the chills that were running up and down her spine. They parked outside the house and saw several goons trying to get in. Diggle slipped on his gear and nodded to the gardens. He walked to the fountain, to a very art neuvo woman on a horse, and twisted her foot. The floor opened.
Below was a steel and wood loading crate, they climbed in. Diggle worked the controls as the crate moved, it was slow but they were getting there. The silence was eerie but she soon wished it was still there.
"We're too far from the house to hear any music they're playing, aren't we?" There was chincy music in the air, echos of glasses clinking, laughter and conversation. As the crate passed by chambers she saw dim light and moving shadows on the walls.
"By a long shot. No one has been in these rooms for almost eighty years, they were locked in 1947, same time they cut off the power grid. Spooked yet?" Diggle focused on the controls.
"And then some. Drive." He nodded.
They arrived at a wooden panel, it had a fleur de les on the molding that Diggle pushed in, leaving them in the former Queens bedchamber. Jade felt the shivers get stronger.
"I never noticed how creepy this place is." She shivered as her spine tingled. "Now I'll never forget."
"You get used to it, let's go." Diggle put on his mask and turned, the door opened. He grinned ryely and motioned for her to go first.
The house was deathly still, power out and metal grates blocking much of the little light that filtered in from outside. It was going to be near impossible to see anything. They searched with the little light they had for a moment until a fine mist formed in the hallway. A woman, blonde, tall and thin opened the door to Mia's room and walked inside. She motioned for them to follow.
Inside they saw her again, stronger and brighter then ever, looking pointedly into the dark restroom. She was spotting for them. A thug heard them and ran out of the room, charging. Jade easily flipped him and knocked him out. The woman smiled and turned back into mist.
"I think I'm getting it. We can't see but they can." Jade nodded. That was clearly Sarah, doing what she could to look out for her daughter.
"This is a house of memory. They mean it when they say love never dies." Diggle confirmed. "Always been special. Move on."
At the far end of the hall a door opened, and they knew to take the hint. A second thug had found his way to their room, rand sacking her drawers in search of valuables. He pulled a gun that Digs neatly knocked out of his hand before knocking him out as well and putting him into the hallway. He grabbed her attention and pointed to the room. Ambassador Harper smiled warmly, looking at her as he faded away. She smiled sadly, wishing Roy was there to see his father. They searched the rooms left but found no trace of Kate, Di or the kids. Just that they had left quickly.
The ground floor was even darker then upstairs. The pitch dark was even more infuriating to deal with. They heard the sound of clanking dishes and cutlery from the dining room and walked into the lounge. A pale arm appeared in the room, grabbing a purse. The apparition of Moira Queen laughed and hurried into the next room, where they saw her with arms crossed glaring at a thief making a grab for the silver. After they took care of the thief the specter touched Diggle lightly on the arm and faded away. Jade had the feeling she had spoken.
"They would like more visits." Diggle confirmed her suspicion, speaking softly. "It has been awhile."
"Be sure to pass it on." It had occurred to her there was someone she was dreading seeing.
The next logical place for a person to hide was the combo room, but that tied to the kitchen, pantry and living room. It was the perfect place for an ambush. They also hadn't found any trace of any one living other then thugs. It wasn't impossible that Di and Kate had been captured and removed, her blood pressure rose with the thought. What would monsters like that do to toddlers, infants, or younger?
Not on my Little Bird's watch, my Jewel. You know better, they made it. Jade bowed her head and felt tears fall. The one person she didn't want to face was here. You've done well, Jade. Falling is easy, redemption is not. I'm so very proud of you. Know that.
Mrs. Lance took form next to the counter, walking over. She pulled Jade into a hug, and for a moment it felt real. She felt the familiar kiss on her forehead that filled her memories. Maybe it was wishful thinking. Mrs. Lance used the old hand motions, filling her in. Four attackers, locations, two armed, two trained, but the last of them. Above all, she repeated to be careful. Slowly she faded away.
Your son needs you, don't join us yet. Tell Dinah I'm here for her, and she'll be great. I know it. Good luck, my Jewel. I love you.
Jade took a moment to dry her face, Diggle understanding. Using the new signals she passed on the information. He sighed in relief then faced the room, it was time to wrap this up.
>--)->
"RA, your three." Roy moved got out of the way in time, but barely. Vertigo grinned and clashed the bows again. The sleeping toxin was getting impossible to resist. Deathstroke had finished the henchmen and left to get his daughter taken care of. Diggle had confirmed that the paperwork had be turned in and the house was secure. They just needed to last a little longer.
Running to the stairway he could clear his head for a moment, even if the owner of the house followed him. With his years of training he began pulling from old movies as he navigated the new terrain. Errol Flynn had really been on to something.
Merlyn charged the stairs after him, the man was cracked. He was grinning manicly and attacking him with not only his bow but the edges that he had sharpened since their last fight, the blades were more effective by far.
"Don't want to sleep, little arrow?" Merlyn sneered. "It's a shame, I have just the place to put you!"
Oliver caught most of the new attack, as the man jumped over him and got in two solid cuts. He grabbed onto the railing to steady himself. Below Roy was taking a number of hits himself. Merlyn was laughing, cheering over a victory he was already calling.
Suddenly a sea of cars drove onto the property, visible in the open window as they stopped and watched. Oliver used some of the little strength he had left and waved at Roy to join him at the back door. Merlyn and Vertigo, no longer smug, were panicked. They were just now realizing that their fighting parters weren't the only people involved.
They reached the back door and saw a plain black sedan flash it's lights. Bravebow barely waited for them to get in before driving off like a madman. He threw a bag in the back.
"Get changed. We're going to the hospital." Lights were ignored. "The girls have gone into shock."
