Beats me. Whenever I run out of stories to tell. Ah. You made it sound like it was right around the corner.

I've got to say, I've been reading Brubaker's run on Captain America and I've been sucked in. I'm flying through the issues, I've just gotten through the Cap #25 and Bucky hasn't taken over yet. But how did I miss this when it was coming out? It's awesome.

I got the first few issues when I was just getting out of comics. It actually started off kind of slow for me, but I'm interested in going back and getting the trades. To me, the definitive Cap run will always be Mark Waid's.

Brubaker's run is basically the definitive run right now on Cap next to Gruenwald's. Sadly had Mark Gruenwald left at 400 , his run would have been considered great. Its the fact he stayed 41 more issues and wrote some horrible books that killed it lol.

Looking forward to Ultimate Marvel as I'd like to write a solo book.

Are we thinking August for Marvel? I'm kinda looking forward trying Marvel out. My vote is to call it something like Eternal Marvel or Marvel Beyond or something...

I have an idea that's a mix of A-Next, eXiles, and Initiative.

Just a random question, but am I the only one really excited for Captain America on Friday? For some reason I'm more hyped to see this then I was for Thor or any of the Iron Man movies.

I'm extremely skeptical about anything Marvel-related anymore. I haven't really cared for a Marvel movie since Spider-Man 2.

I don't know who's more excited, me or my nephew. I'm making Captain America his first movie he's ever seen in a movie theater.
For me, it was like Lion King or Alladin but he gets Captain America.

I didn't even know. I'm super excited to see it. I think the most hyped I've been for a movie in a while was X-Men: First Class. Harry Potter, yes, but in a very different way. I'm still upset I didn't take part in the "event" of it all and I hope I can manufacture it a week late on Saturday.

After getting home last night and catching the end of the red carpet, I'm really psyched.
Also more psyched about Avengers. RDJ had a great comment on what it's like.

I'm still annoyed with Fox for having distracted me for a week with Ultimate Marvel ideas.
DAMN HIM!
Anyone else have ideas toying in their head they can't wait for?

I really want Cap to be honest. Been tossing that around non-stop since getting out of the movie last night. Though Iron Fist and Spidey are up there on my list of characters I wouldn't mind writing.

I'm expecting a few people would be psyched for Cap after that movie and I'm a fan of Ryan's idea of 2 Cap Claims, one in the past and one in the present.
Personally, I'm wanting Spidey. Didn't want him to begin with then Fox started talking with me about his ideas or trying to get blood for the site, don't know and suddenly I have 8 issue outline for Amazing Fantasy.
Also somewhat interested in an Ultimate Initiative that's a mix of Young Avengers and Allies, Avengers Academy, and a bit more. MVP and Cloud 9 would be fun characters to have. So would Arana.

I've get a pretty decent six issue outline I need to write down for Cap. Though I'm really just amped to write a solo title in general. It's exhausting trying to make sure I have good bits for almost everyone in outlines for the team books.

Haha. The same with me. I'm lucky that Steph is somewhat the main character with the other 4 supporting her but Brave and the Bold is insane. I'm writing a team book like each is a solo hero.
Spidey would let it keep me simple up until or if I decided to include his amazing friends.
Had an alternate take on the F4 that had them active a good 15-20 years before the present and already at the Future Foundation/Fantastic Five stage too.

Yeah I've been hyped to try write Cap since seeing the final trailer. I've got old ideas from the old Marvel site if my Cap idea of past and present titles fall through I could fall back on.
I'd love to write the WWII era Cap...Call it Captain America & The Howling Commandos. But that's something to be worked on later.

So, I'm probably going to kick this up in the middle of August. Ryan, I've started to get some different plans for X-Men, but I need to know if you're planning on taking a remaining title before I can start going full steam ahead with them.
