Oliver walked into the empty parking lot, his new wife following closely behind. He climbed the nearby telephone pole and watched the building below.
This is GA. GA and Canary in place. Watching for break in guard pattern expected in four minutes and counting.
Roger GA. Support is in place. Move when ready. Good luck.
Dinah, just below him on the pole, nodded.
Shortly they saw the new guard walk into place and Oliver fired his rope arrow. He pulled his wife up and he flew on the rope, her hanging on.
They split and walked around the small building. Reaching the front he smiled as the guard in front of him panicked, while Dinah raised an eyebrow to the guard she faced.
"Shit, it's Green Arrow, man!" The first guard screamed.
"Naw, it's the Canary!" The second yelled.
Dinah leapt in the air and wrapped her legs around the first guards neck, tossing him at his companion. The second one dodged and turned to strike the woman. Dinah dodged and saw her husband knock the man to the ground.
"No. Bad thug. No hitting the wifey." Oliver said, the man was out.
Di smiled at him. "Now dear, he had no idea."
He opened the door, from a key card the second guard was carrying. "No excuse." He said with a wink.
They walked inside, hearing the computer at the end of the hall.
Canary here. We're in, support.
The room is three hundred feet ahead. Let us know when you get there.
They crept to the walls and quietly walked to the indicated door. They stood to either side.
We're in. Bust the code.
The key pad on the door beeped for a second before it failed to turn green. The newlyweds looked at each other and nodded, the alarm system would pick up on the break in just a few seconds.
Oliver quickly ran to the other wall while Dinah focused and sonic screamed the door into twisted metal. She dashed inside and deftly planted the monitoring device.
"That's our cue." She said, running for the exit.
Oliver followed after. "Didn't like the decor anyway."
Canary, GA. Code did not go through, report.
They reached the zip line and rode it back up, gathering the arrow after them.
Canary here. We noticed. Moved onto plan B. Mission still completed.
There was silence on the line for a time.
Information feed established. It will work. See you at recovery point delta in three minutes.
Oliver dashed inside a nearby safe-house, where their street clothing was waiting for them. He responded before his wife could.
Negative, support. Taking personal time.
Dinah, who was pulling jeans over the fishnets, smiled. Adrien couldn't stop them without giving away their position. When she responded Adrien sounded annoyed and amused. She always did when they out witted her.
Fair enough, GA. Don't be out too late.
"It's after one, what's open at this time of night?" Di asked, somewhat concerned at her husbands smile.
"The fridge has a few snacks in it. But I had something else in mind." She felt her back lean on the wall.
Dinah laughed. "You mean wifely duties." She said, laughing as her husband both mock glared at her and kissed her neck.

Mia jumped and dodged the bow swing Brave Bow had swung her way. She jumped, landed on his shoulders and launched herself in the air. Brave Bow smiled and applauded.
"I think you have the leap down, Little Wing." He said. "Is there another move you'd like to work on?"
Mia grabbed a towel to wipe the sweat from her neck. "Not today. Ollie and Di-" She smiled, it was like having parents again. "Are out again tonight so I want to help get the house work done before they get back."
Brave Bow smiled and nodded to Diggle who was watching the two from the back wall. He had moved up to Star City to open an archery school after the federal investigators had started looking to bring the heroes in for questioning. It had gotten fairly hot.
Diggle got up and handed Mia her bag so she could shower and change, she ran off.
"How is she doing?" He asked. Brave Bow was one of the few people the young teen would actually talk to.
Brave Bow patted his friend on the back. "Better now that she's with you." He said. "She still jumps at shadows but she knows you will see she is kept safe."
John Diggle nodded. They would all step in to rescue her, though Ollie and Di had become downright parental. He felt sorry for the soul that set them off. "I like to think the dark days are over for her now." He said.
The older man smiled. "They are, you saved her in time. Thank you."
Mia returned in short order and beamed as she ran up to them. "Did I do okay?" She asked, knowing Diggle had been watching.
"Great. You'll have to show Di when you have a chance." She smiled brighter. He nodded to the door and she ran to the car. "You'll be welcome for dinner tonight." He told his old instructor. "Same as usual, food and hanging out. Picked up more draft today."
Brave Bow thought for a moment and smiled. "Beats drive through." He said and grabbed his jacket and keys before walking to the car himself. "Game tonight to."
Brave Bow loved their forty inch tv on nights there was a game on.

While Dinah's job had exploded so had Oliver's, and by association, Roy's. He was working on the paperwork for the seventh merger this month alone. Still, he preferred this to the endless meetings and negotiations Adrien and Ollie had to deal with. He smiled as he felt the now familiar poof behind him and felt two arms wrap around him. He turned his face up and kissed his girlfriend hello.
Jade looked at the screen and looked impressed. "Another one?" She said, even she knew this wasn't normal.
"And two more in the works. Business is good." She settled herself on his lap. "Which means I can spoil this girl I met as soon as I find the time." He smiled at her appraising look.
"Such a charming idea." She purred and climbed off his lap to pull him out of the chair. "You should do that."
He allowed himself to claim some personal time for themselves, free moments were becoming far too rare for everyone in the house. One needed to take what one could.
Jade was Dinah's girlhood friend, and the woman he had never seen coming. She had come into town to find her old friend and attend the recent wedding, then never left. His life before her was well enough, but the more he got to know the dark skinned beauty the more he was unable to fathom life without her anymore. She only asked that he keep her secrets until she was ready for them to be made known. It was an easy thing to agree to.
"You're thinking awe fully deep." She said and stretched sometime later, fully aware he was watching her form as she did so. "Anything I should know about?"
He nuzzled her neck and stole another kiss. "Wondering what I did to get you." It wasn't a lie, she had literally come out of the woodwork. "I adore you."
She melted at the compliment. "You're sweet." She said and cuddled in closer.
He smiled, his golden girl was right here.

Dinah walked out of the bathroom, now showered and clean, and ready to crash. She wandered over to the personal computer she and her husband shared and flipped through the reports on the desk.
Several infrastructure projects had been approved in the Bludhaven area. The electrical grid, sewage, road repairs, and improving the public bus system. Nothing that would be seen as exciting, but once it was all done the area would be noticeably better.
"What do you think?" She heard him ask, she had missed the sound of the shower turning off. "A good start?"
"Don't you think they'll notice?" The Court was nothing if not vigilant.
"I'm counting on it. I need to know what they consider important, that way I know what I can get away with first." She felt his arms surround her. "Go from there."
"You're egging them to show some of their hand." She was impressed. He had also the projects in shell companies.
"I like them being over confident. Make figuring them out easier. Just have to keep my own ego in check. But you keep my feet on the ground." He pulled her away from the desk.
She climbed into bed, curling up next to him. "Happy to help."

Adrien curled up in her rose patterned chair on the other side of town and looked at her laptop. The information from the data banks was the solid implication the authorities were looking for. The local drug trade would be loosing a few members.
A thought popped in her head and she typed in a new URL. Loading up watchtower she smirked, there were two more videos of Ollie and Di from the past week. Several posters were arguing about wether the two were a couple or not. Granted she had insider information, but they weren't exactly trying to hide it. How many non couples held open doors for each other and even held hands?
The site was cute, a natural progression in the digital age. When everyone had a smart phone with a video camera it was bound to happen, the trick was controlling the information a little.
She had bought the site a few weeks ago. That night she quickly checked to make sure there was nothing damaging that needed to be removed. Aside from a few rude comments, this was the Internet, it seemed alright for now. She browsed the rest of the site, getting an idea of who else was out there. It would be better to know. The country seemed to be having a minor explosion of heroes. She hoped it was for the best.
She looked up at the sight of Master Jansen walking through the door. It did unnerve her that he never triggered anything, but she knew him to be a friend.
"Jansen." She moved a few papers off the nearby chair.
Due to their long history the man was far more open with her then he was with the others.
"Addy." He said with a warm fondness. "I wish I brought you better news."
She smiled at the name, a remnant of times gone by. "What is it?"
He sat down and handed her the folder. "Jailbreak. The worst kind."
She looked at the folder. It only took reading the first page to make her breath quicken. "Mia." She said as she looked up.
"Quite. Gaynor and his crew are at large again. Somehow Cavanaugh is with them."
She flipped a few pages to find the information on the presumed dead man. "This can't be right. Oliver broke his neck."
"And the new Mrs. Queen snapped his back when she was still in Bludhaven. Yet he was taken alive and has escaped." Jansen shrugged. "I have not been able to find out the source of this healing ability, other then the presumed meta-human theory."
"Do we have any leads on where they are?" She quickly scanned the report.
"Not yet, though I think we will soon. I know the escape was funded by someone within Star City and I know that Gaynor was talking about getting Mia back while he was held." He stood up. "I will let you know when I know more."
Adrien could feel her face harden. "Thank you. I'll see that Mia is guarded until this is resolved. We are in your debt."
The man smiled. "Never. I will always be here to help you. It is the least I can do."
When Adrien looked again he was gone.
