Characters whose super name or last name begin with A. Warning, spoilers are below.
Lord Alpa Ruler of Tritonis and the mermen, who pledges men to join with the Ocean Master's rebel army against the ruling King Orm. Appeared in Ultimate Aquaman Current Status: Unclaimed
Lady Aleduren A noble in the court of King Arthur. She was married to Sir Caden, the Hawk Knight and attended King Arthur's wedding on the dais with the royal family. Appeared in Ultimate Demon Knights Current Status: Presumed deceased
Ambush Bug (Irwin Schwab) A young inventor, hacker and information dealer in Hub City, Irwin Schwab's greatest discovery is a suit he wears that allows him to teleport from place to place. According to Schwab, using a chip that he implanted into his own brain, he is able to rip a hole in the universe to leap through and then within a half second, rip a second hole where he would return. Most others assume that he is in fact metahuman, a charge Schwab denies.
Ambush Bug takes on a greater role in combat starting with the group's encounter with Icicle (Cameron Mahkent), a name he applies to the crazed metahuman. While Catman takes on the bulk of the combat, it is Ambush Bug himself that is actually responsible for Mahkent's capture, teleporting above a water tower and tipping it over, freezing Mahkent in a giant ice cube.
He takes over as Hub City's primary protector when Catman leaves for Ashram, earning the ire of cult leader David Hersch who preaches an anti-metahuman gospel. Hersch sets up a scenario to capture Schwab, tricking him into saving a bus that appeared to be out of control and injecting him with a solution to knock him out. Schwab would have been killed if not for the timely intercession of Josiah Power, a member of ARGUS who wants Ambush Bug to turn over any further metahumans they capture directly to ARGUS rather than involving the police.
The VATF (Vigilante Apprehension Task Force) targets Ambush Bug upon its formation, hoping that the capture of AB and Guardian will lead to the apprehension of Catman. Ambush Bug is able to save Guardian from being killed by Mad Dog, although they have been unable thus far to shake the VATF who seem to know everything about their lives. Appeared in Ultimate Catman Current Status: Claimed in Ultimate Catman
Anarky First appeared in November of 2013 when he arranged for the resurrection of the Metropolis Hallowed Haunt. He had done this to re-inspire Matty Roth's social justice crusade by providing him with a reminder of the crusades he used to take on. The Haunt took place on a closed subway line, contrasting the partying of Metropolis' business and celebrity elite with the suffering of the people of Suicide Slum, who no longer had access to the train service. He continues assisting Roth by providing a private space for Roth to broadcast his message from and provides Roth with the information that Mitchell Hundred (Great Machine)'s powers are no longer working following his near assassination. Appeared in Ultimate Ex Machina Current Status: Unclaimed
Commissioner Amy Angotti The Metropolis Police Commissioner during Mitchell Hundred (Great Machine)'s two terms Appeared in: Ultimate Ex Machina Current Status: Unclaimed
The Angels Communicate with Mitchell Hundred (Great Machine) via dreams, on behalf of “The Architect”. It is unknown if these angels are connected to the angels of Heaven. Appeared in: Ultimate Ex Machina Current Status: Unclaimed
Aquaman (Arthur Curry) The child soon to be Arthur Curry first arrived on the surface world during Hurricane Daniel, brought from Atlantis by Poseidon. He was dropped off at the Curry Lighthouse to Thomas Curry, because Poseidon himself respected the man and knew he would raise Arthur to be a good man.
Arthur's early life is not easy, he is small and scrawny, and a target of bullies both teacher and student. This is enhanced in middle school when his Atlantean physiology starts to manifest. He develops gills behind his ears that allow him to breathe completely underwater, telepathic abilities that allows him to not only read minds, but also project thoughts into others. He also gains relative super speed (able to exceed 55 mph on land, even faster in the water), super strength (capable of lifting a car) and durability (where he's able to shrug off metahuman punches, bullets, needles and other attacks). These are accompanied by a growth spurt in high school that ends his bullying days, and turns him into a local star for the football team.
Arthur first gets his first sense of being a super hero when he saves his father from Psimon's assault on the hospital. He again rises to the occasion the next month when Shimmer and Mammoth start a riot at the Queensland Boardwalk he and his friends are visiting. He is able to defeat both Australians through great effort. Arthur next finds himself at the scene of an attempted assassination on mayoral candidate Mitchell Hundred (Great Machine) that turns into a battle between a sniper, Hundred's security, a bunch of innocent protesters and Jinx, an unstable metahuman with the ability to affect probability..
The next change in Arthur's life comes when he first meets Garth, an Atlantean from the Hidden Valley, who snuck up to the surface world, believing Arthur to be the subject of the “Prophecy of the Unifier”. It is in the Hidden Valley that Arthur gets the first taste of the paranoid and distrustful Atlanteans, when the King of the Hidden Valley sells Arthur out to King Orm of Poseidonis, who intends to have the boy executed before he can fulfill the prophecy. Arthur outsmarts him by reading his mind (a thing that most Atlanteans cannot do) and demands trial by combat, which he aces.
It is during Arthur's incarceration in Poseidonis that Arthur meets his birth mother, Atlanna, who constantly tries to intercede on Arthur's behalf when Orm seeks to have him eliminated. Arthur remains a threat to Orm's hold on Atlantis, not just because he is a rival for the throne, but he is also an outsider, an Orin, and his constant one-upping of Orm in combat and in the throne room diminishes the withering respect the people have for Orm. In order to quell this, Arthur is forbidden to return to the surface and enrolled in the Conservatory of War, to make him a proper, if low level, Atlantean soldier.
While underwater, Arthur gains a final new asset, where he appears to have earned, without asking the loyalty of the animals of the sea. Sharks and whales will intercede on his behalf, calling him Lord and understanding his language, another thing most Atlanteans cannot do.
Arthur finally becomes the target of the rebellion currently going on in Poseidonis, where the Ocean Master, a man named Vulko, tasks his Xebellian assistant Mera to find him and bring him to their side. Her attempt confuses Arthur and leads him to return to the ocean, where further disaster strikes. As Hurricane Robert pounds the east coast, Arthur returns to Amnesty Bay where he finds himself in combat with Black Manta, and then Orm, defeating them both.
Arthur realizes his life will always be dangerous, and decides to break things off with Jenna and return to the sea, where he will take over the throne of Poseidonis, and fulfill the prophecy.
In 2015, Arthur is one of the four heroes chosen by Doctor Fate to intercede in the battle between the Kryptonian forces and those of ARGUS. Appeared in Ultimate Aquaman Current Status: Claimed in Ultimate Justice League, Unclaimed for solo series*
The Architect Responsible for Mitchell Hundred (Great Machine)'s transformation, and appears to direct Hundred toward certain activities – first the Aether Harvester to create a power source, then a garden. Jack Pherson claimed he too was changed by the Architect to become “The Shepard”, but this was not confirmed by The Architect. It is unknown if the Architect is or is connected to the God that The Spectre serves. Appeared in Ultimate Ex Machina Current Status: Unclaimed
Atlan A former king of Atlantis, and the supposed father of Orm, Atlan was in fact infertile, despite attempts to have children with multiple women. Atlanna eventually has an affair of her own with Poseidon, giving birth to Arthur Curry (Aquaman), and also taking her sister's bastard son as well. Atlan wants no part of either child, but realizes he needs an heir and decides to keep Orm, especially since Arthur would seem to fit the profile of The Unifier. He is later allegedly murdered by Orm. Appeared in Ultimate Aquaman Current Status: Deceased
Queen Atlanna The Queen Mother of Poseidonis, Atlanna has crafted the appearance that Orm is her son, and Arthur Curry (Aquaman) is not. Though she is forced to admit that Arthur is in fact hers, she is forced to keep up the appearance of having been unfaithful to the late King, while continuing to acknowledge Orm as hers to keep his waning legitimacy on the throne. Atlanna actually did have an affair with the God Poseidon, that gave birth to Arthur, but Atlan was no more faithful than she. When Atlan ordered Arthur killed, fearing he might fulfill the prophecy of unification, Atlanna appealed to Poseidon to save the child, and had him brought to the surface world where he might begin the process of becoming The One. Appeared in Ultimate Aquaman Current Status: Unclaimed

The flirtation eventually bloomed into a full-on affair between Linden-Thorne and Hundred. While Hundred developed feelings for Linden-Thorne, it is unknown if she reciprocated. Appeared in Ultimate Ex Machina Current Status: Unclaimed
Black Spider (Eric Needham) Hired by Mayor Armand Krol and Police Commissioner Kristen Kramer to lead the VATF (Vigilante Apprehension Task Force) in Hub City to target the city's vigilante problem, specifically looking to put Catman (Thomas Blake), Guardian (William Cayce) and Ambush Bug (Irwin Schwab) out of operation. Constantine plays hardball and sets forth several other restrictions including ""If you use force to kill the soul's host body, you have to put it back into my body" Blaxothi agrees to the terms, only to find them biting him in the ass, when Blaxothi has to kill Calabraxis, who had stolen Constantine's soul moments before Blaxothi came, to collect it. Cableman (Real Name Unknown) Hired by Mayor Armand Krol and Police Commissioner Kristen Kramer to be a member of the VATF (Vigilante Apprehension Task Force) in Hub City to target the city's vigilante problem, specifically looking to put Catman (Thomas Blake), Guardian (William Cayce) and Ambush Bug (Irwin Schwab) out of operation. Cableman appears to recognize Kitrina Falcone by sight and by name when he sees her after the VATF raids Cayce's apartment, but how he knows her remains unspecified. Appeared in Ultimate Catman Current Status: Claimed in Ultimate Catman
Sir Cadon the Hawk Knight One of the Knights of the Round Table. Sir Cadon was invited to join King Arthur on the dais during King Arthur's wedding. The Knights had a program where a different knight sat with the King at each function, to give each of them some personal time with the King they fought for. He was married to Lady Aleduren. Appeared in Ultimate Demon Knights Current Status: Presumed Deceased
Calabraxis A demon who was once Jack the Ripper, disguising his acquisition of souls via ritual sacrifice as the workings of a deranged serial killer. He alleged to have the aid of a demon called Barbatos in luring the women to him, but whether this is true, or if he was acquiring the souls in the service of Barbatos is unknown. He emerges in 2012, targeting the soul of John Constantine and ritually murders a young woman John had a one night stand with. He also threatens Constantine's father Thomas. Knowing he is outmatched in a fight, Constantine is forced to sell his soul to Blaxothi, and attempt to induce Blaxothi to kill Calabraxis in his stead. Blaxothi does, but the terms of the contract he signed with Constantine prevents the demon from collecting. Appeared in Ultimate Hellblazer Current Status: Deceased
Catgirl (Kitrina Falcone) Kitrina has lived a very difficult and troubled life, though much of it remains obscured. It is generally believed that she was kept as a sex slave for Mario Falcone, and she believes herself to be his daughter, although there appears to be no record of a "Kitrina Falcone" anywhere in the city. William Cayce (Guardian) theorizes that she may believe herself to be a Falcone as a defense mechanism, and it is highly unlikely that she even remembers her original last name. Cableman, one of the members of Hub City's VATF (Vigilante Apprehension Task Force), appears to recognize her, and addresses her by name when he assault's Guardian's home. It is uncertain how he knows her, however.
Catman rescues her and brings her back to Guardian's home for safety, the group planning to help her get over her trauma and reintegrated back into society. She seems to latch onto Thomas very quickly, but she eventually comes around to the others when he leaves for Ashram, and in fact finds herself becoming a useful member of the team.
She is given the nickname "Catgirl" by Thomas, though she has not used it herself, or appeared in the field. Appeared in Ultimate Catman Current Status: Claimed in Ultimate Catman
Catman (Thomas Blake) (History in Progress)
When Blake decides to reform, he finds himself moving to Hub City with no home and no plan. Sleeping on the streets at night, he travels the streets by day in cobbled-together armor, trying to stop crime as he finds it. It is during one of his missions that he encounters William Cayce (The Guardian), and after accidentally confusing him for a criminal, the pair fight off a group of Mario Falcone's goons and save a bunch of children destined for very unpleasant ends.
Realizing their interests align, Blake becomes Catman, protector of the Hub, using the resources and information already gained by Guardian, and his ally Ambush Bug (Irwin Schwab). This includes the Siberian, an armored car of Guardian's design that they use to get around the city, and electrically charged escrima sticks (which Catman calls batons), that are Catman's primary weapon outside of his fists.
The group initially tackles Mario Falcone, the primary mob figure that controls most of Hub City's criminal activity. Catman assaults his skyscraper fortress and fights his way up floor by floor as he takes out Falcone's goons. It's during this ascent that he meets Kitrina Falcone, the abused possible daughter of Mario, and rescues her. He also encounters Mario directly, and after surviving the assault from Falcone's elite guards, sends a very strong message to Mario - get out of the Hub. For the moment, it appears Catman was successful, but Guardian suspects Falcone could return at any time.
Catman next takes on Cameron Mahkent (Icicle), a petty thief who robs a bank, only to have his metahuman powers activated. Declaring himself a god, Mahkent turns his attack on the city, only to be faced down by Catman, Guardian and Ambush Bug. Though Catman battles with Icicle directly, it is ultimately Ambush Bug that defeats him.
After realizing he is woefully untrained to be taking on threats of Icicle's level, Catman makes the decision to leave Hub City for awhile, seeking greater training so that he can really make a difference. He approaches his ex-wife Jade, knowing that she and her allies have had training that could be useful. While reuniting with his son Tommy Jr. and arranging for the training, Catman is targeted for revenge by Peter Lomax, an old criminal associate. The pair had been in a gang together, planning to target an armored car. Blake abandoned the job, but Lomax and the gang opted to continue, only to have it blow up in their faces. Now seeking revenge on Blake, Lomax targets not only Blake himself, but also his family, which includes Green Arrow, Black Canary and the other protectors of Star City by extension. After a difficult battle, Lomax is defeated. Having earned if nothing else, begrudging respect from Jade and her allies for his attempts to become a better person, he is directed to an Ashram in Columbia.
It is here in the Ashram that Catman spends the next few months, taking on the name Stray Cat and becoming a hunter. He is joined in this quest by a mysterious woman named Onyx, with whom he falls in love. During this training, he never forgets Hub City and remains focused on returning, even as he gets caught up in a war between the teachings of Ashram itself, and a splinter movement, the Monkey Fist Brotherhood. Appeared in Ultimate Birds of Prey, Ultimate Catman, Ultimate Green Arrow Current Status: Claimed in Ultimate Catman
Chas Chandler One of John Constantine's drinking buddies and a member of the Newcastle Crew that survived both the 1993 and 2013 appearances of Jallakuntilliokan. He doesn't appear to have much in the line of magical powers, and was not directly involved in the first battle, staying in the car to watch out for any other cult members that might have arrived to reinforce those already inside. In the second battle, he is forced to kill his friend Peter North, when North succumbs to Jallakuntilliokan's control. Appeared in Ultimate Hellblazer Current Status: Unclaimed
Cicada (David Hersch) A cult leader that operates in Hub City, Hersch has a strong anti-metahuman message in his sermons, blaming them for the ills of society. He goes so far as to set up an incident in the city to draw Ambush Bug (Irwin Schwab) into an ambush, pretending a bus he was driving has gotten completely out of control. When Schwab teleports in and brings the bus under control, Hersch attacks him with a syringe and knocks him unconscious. But before Hersch is able to do anything to Schwab, Josiah Power interferes and saves him. Appeared in Ultimate Catman Current Status: Claimed in Ultimate Catman
Brian Collins Another one of Arthur Curry (Aquaman)'s close high school friends. Dimwitted and impulsive, Brian was a transfer student who quickly became a part of Arthur's high school clique. As Jenna and Arthur get closer, Brian becomes more and more of a third wheel, until he reveals he's just trying to spend as much time as possible with his best friends before shipping out with the Navy, having enlisted while Arthur and Jenna were focused on selecting colleges. He sends a letter to Arthur suggesting he is adjusting to life there, but neither Arthur or Jenna seem convinced. It's unknown if either are able to follow up with Brian. Appeared in Ultimate Aquaman Current Status: Unclaimed
John Constantine A magical con man, he relies more on his smarts, ability to grift and knowledge than he does his magical capacity in order to battle demons. He also has something of a reputation in demonic circles, and many would prefer not to entangle with him at all. In 1993, he and his Newcastle Crew encountered the first appearance of the otherworldly Jallakuntilliokan, losing several members before reciting an incantation that sent it away for twenty years. In 2012, he was first hired by an old couple who were concerned that their grandchild was possessed. It turned out he was, by the child's late parents. He convinces them that they must depart for the afterlife or else risk having their young child appear insane. Shortly after he was targeted by Calabraxis, a demon best known for being Jack the Ripper and desiring his soul. Calabraxis is killed before he's able to do anything with it, however. After a brief battle with Papa Midnite alongside an old ally Mister E, Constantine must reunite the surviving members of the Newcastle Crew to battle the returning Jallakuntilliokan. It's not John himself who actually does the saving however, though he is the one who convinces Crazy Jane to enter the portal in the hopes that she might be the one to bring victory. Appeared in Ultimate Hellblazer Current Status: Unclaimed
Thomas Constantine Father to John, he lost his wife and daughter when his wife died in childbirth. He and John do not get along, being polar opposites personally. They only get together one time a year. The demon Calabraxis targets him as a way to bait John Constantine to battle, but John is able to arrange for Calabraxis' destruction before he ever acts on it. It is unknown if Thomas was ever aware that his life was being threatened. Appeared in Ultimate Hellblazer Current Status: Unclaimed
Crazy Jane (Kay Challis) A member of John Constantine's Newcastle Crew, she is involved in the first battle against Jallakuntilliokan, and her mind is absolutely destroyed by the encounter. She is committed to a mental institution shortly afterward after having a complete mental break, which gave rise to 60 separate personalities. Some of these include: Crazy Jane, Baby Doll, Rain Brain, Spinning Jenny, Black Annis, Scarlet Harlot, Mama Pentacost Sun Daddy, Flit, The Hangman's Beautiful Daughter, Pepper's Ghost, the Weird Sisters, Lucy Fugue, Driver 8, The Secretary, Jill-in-Irons, The Engineer, Merry Andrew and Penny Farthing. She envisions her mind as a hotel, where 59 of the personalities reside while the one in control is "on stage". Crazy Jane appears to be the most dominant, but cedes to others when their skill sets are more useful in a given situation. During the return of Jallakuntilliokan, Constantine convinces Crazy Jane to enter the portal directly, where she and her other personalities make contact with the entity's mother. The species is apparently pacifistic, outside of Jallkuntilliokan himself, and the mother quickly reclaims her son at Crazy Jane's request. When Jane returns to our world however, she no longer appears as Kay Challis, but as Crazy Jane had envisioned herself in Kay's mind. What this means for Kay is unknown. Appeared in Ultimate Hellblazer Current Status: Unclaimed
Thomas Curry One of a series of Curry men to watch over the Amnesty Bay Lighthouse, Thomas has been going out to sea since he was four years old. After graduating high school, he joined the military, where he was stationed in Portsmouth. While the coast was being ravaged by Hurricane Brian, Poseidon brought him a young child, whom he named Arthur Curry (Aquaman) and raised to adulthood. Thomas remains a source of strength for Arthur throughout his life, imparting much wisdom. Thomas is killed when Black Manta attacks and destroys the lighthouse during another hurricane.. Appeared in Ultimate Aquaman Current Status: Deceased

Characters whose super name or last name begin with D. Warning, spoilers are below.
The D.E.O. (The Department of Extranormal Operations) (History in progress) A government agency, the DEO was once responsible for the acquisition and detention of dangerous metahumans. The prisoners in the DEO's possession were at some point transferred to the authority of ARGUS. The current status of the DEO in the US Government appears to be unknown at this time. Appeared in Ultimate Aquaman Current Status: Unknown Parco Delgado Boro President of Southside in Metropolis. Delgado appears to have had a manslaughter charge stricken from his record at the age of 18. It is implied that this was done due to some outside influence of Bruno Mannheim, which allowed Delgado to rise to the position of Boro President at the expense of letting Mannheim do as he pleased in Southside. Appeared in Ultimate Ex Machina Current Status: Unclaimed Jenna DeMarco Arthur Curry (Aquaman)'s childhood best friend who eventually develops into the first love of his life, Jenna has always seemed to have a crush on Arthur, to which he is oblivious. She even chooses to attend school at Metropolis University rather than Princeton in the hopes that they might get together. She is also the first to learn about Arthur's abilities and origin, helping him to adjust and making him feel normal. Jenna is frequently in harms way when Arthur winds up in battles with various supervillains, which causes both her and Arthur considerable stress. She is often left hanging for significant periods of time waiting to see if he even survived the confrontation. That fact, coupled with the fact that she would always be in danger if she were to stay with him ultimately breaks the pair up, as difficult a choice as it is for the both of them to come to. Appeared in Ultimate Aquaman Current Status: Unclaimed
Doctor Fate (Hector Hall) (History in progress) The latest in a line of magical protectors of the world, Doctor Fate is the mantle of the man or woman who wields the Helm of Fate. Doctor Fate is charged with keeping a balance, and cannot interfere in everything that goes on despite having the power to do so, knowing that sometimes changing what is fated to happen can lead to worse results than what the original course would have lead to. But this does not prevent fate from acting at all.
A wearer of the Helm in 1571 was instrumental in holding back the attack of Neron and Mordru in Rome, although this was at the cost of the wearer's life. Jason Blood (Etrigan the Demon) was then charged with finding the next worthy man or woman to give the helm to. In 2015, though Hector Hall was unwilling to step in during the Kryptonian invasion, the helm was briefly assumed by Zatanna Zatara, who summoned Aquaman, Batman, Green Arrow and Wonder Woman to step into the battle between the Kryptonian forces and ARGUS. Appeared in Ultimate Birds of Prey, Ultimate Demon Knights, Ultimate Green Arrow, Ultimate Justice League Current Status: Claimed in Ultimate Green Arrow, Ultimate Justice League
Doomsday A hyper intelligent and highly destructive clone created by Professor Emile Hamilton in the CADMUS project that grew faster and stronger than any of the others due to a genetic mutation. It was unleashed upon the Kryptonian refugee ship, intending to wipe the Kryptonians out. It was nearly successful, killing many, but ultimately sent into the Phantom Zone where it promised it would get out and resume it's destruction of not only the Kryptonians, but ultimately all of Earth. This incident was the trigger for the Kryptonian War. Appeared in Ultimate Superman Current Status: Trapped in Phantom Zone
Sir Lancelot du Lac Most notable of the Knights of the Round Table, and popular with the ladies. In his youth, Jason Blood (Etrigan the Demon) was jealous with Lancelot's ease with women and skill in the battlefield. Lancelot was not afraid to rub it in, although he did show some pity toward Blood when the young mage would get left behind instead of being able to go into battle. Appeared in Ultimate Demon Knights Current Status: Presumably Deceased

Characters whose super name or last name begin with E. Warning, spoilers are below.
Etrigan the Demon (Jason Blood) Born in a humble peasant village in Arthurian England, Jason was able from a young age to wield magic. He was brought to Camelot to learn at the hand of Merlin, where he became an accomplished mage. During his stay, he became involved with King Arthur's sister Morgaine, who he began to teach magic in secret. He also becomes close to Arthur's youngest sister Nimue. Blood's relationship with Morgaine is tested, because the young woman craves more and more power, especially of the kind that he refuses to teach her. So she investigates on her own and murders Jason as part of a ritual, binding him for eternity to the rhyming demon Etrigan.
When Jason utters the phrase “Gone, gone the form of man, arise the demon Etrigan” Blood is sent to Hell and Etrigan takes his place. Even when Etrigan is not active, he can converse (and most likely taunt) Blood, often trying to goad him into summoning Etrigan to Earth.
After the fall of Camelot, Blood leaves England for Europe and Asia, traveling around and going where he was needed. But when a rebellion is sparked in his home country, Jason returns, encountering Robin Hood and his Merry Men. He also encounters Maid Marion, who he recognizes as Nimue Pendragon in another identity. In the years following Morgaine's betrayal, Jason and Nimue became close and intimate... only to drift apart. This is the first time in some time that they have seen each other. But as with the myth, Maid Marion is involved with the blusterous Robin of Loxley, better known as Robin Hood, who is locked in battle with Prince John and his henchmen, the Sheriff of Nottingham and Sir Guy of Gisbourne. Blood, Robin and everyone are successful in overcoming Prince John, even after Lady Blaze, another faction ruler in Hell becomes involved and makes a deal with Sir Guy.
Jason's story continues a thousand years after the binding, where he finds himself in Germany, employed as a witch hunter. But this is no scare, the women in fact had sold their souls to Lord Satanus. One of the young women has a son, Klarion that Jason takes on when it appears the young boy has magical aptitude. But betrayal isn't too far off for Jason, and Klarion turns on him in exchange for power, much as his wife had.
In 2013, Jason Blood is more or less retired, drawn back into the game when a series of ritual murders strike the Gotham University campus. He tracks the murders to a demon-possessed Dawn Granger, a young woman with amazing powers. After needing to invoke Etrigan, he is able to exorcise the demon, but given his experiences with Klarion and Morgaine, Blood rebuffs Grangers request for help with her magic.
This bites him on the ass when Klarion emerges in Gotham, targeting Dawn and planning to take control of her himself to sew chaos throughout the Earth. Though Etrigan does his best to save her, it is Dawn herself that ends Klarion's control. Realizing his mistake, Blood agrees to take her under his wing.
Dawn continues to find herself a target of demonic assault when Lady Blaze returns with a demonic Sir Guy for revenge, not only on Jason Blood, but also Nimue Pendragon, now going by the name Madam Xanadu. But Blaze is also looking for Dawn Granger who appears to play a central role in the new age that's coming, but even Jason Blood cannot say for sure why she's so pivotal to things that demons are willing to break the rules of Hell itself and threaten the wrath of Heaven just to get her. Lucifer Morningstar, the ruler of Hell knows why specifically everyone targets Dawn, but he would not reveal the reason to Blood. Dawn initially appealed to Blood for training, wanting to become his apprentice, but he initially refused. In the aftermath of an attack Klarion induced Dawn to make that damaged much of Gotham's business district, Jason Blood finally relented and agreed to teach her how to use her abilities. Great Machine (Mitchell Hundred) A veteran of the war in Afghanistan, Hundred gained the power to communicate with machines while serving his tour. This event appears to have been arranged by The Architect, who is using Hundred to build structures on Earth he conveys in dreams. When Hundred returns home from the war, he puts his new powers to use and becomes The Great Machine, a jet powered superhero in Metropolis. He was instrumental in defeating Brainiac's New Years Eve 2006 destruction of Metropolis. Unmasking shortly afterward, Hundred decided to run for Mayor instead, believing he could do more to protect the people and rebuild the city as Mayor than he could as a costumed hero. He wins election in 2008 and 2012. It is unknown if he will run again in 2016.
Hundred begins the first of the Architect's projects by putting the Aether Harvester in Southside, a device that will provide free electricity to the suffering people of Suicide Slum. Jack Pherson (The Shepard), an old enemy from his Great Machine days, returns to Metropolis to spoil the announcement of this great project, by using his ability to control animals to manipulate them into attacking Hundred in a series of increasingly dangerous assaults. These attacks culminate in a host of birds dive bombing the residents of the city, killing many. Upon defeating and nearly killing Pherson, Hundred attempts to bring the city back together again by delivering an impassioned speech. He cannot avoid tragedy however as the Rainbow Archer attempts to assassinate Hundred during this speech. The arrows do not kill him, but do sever his connection to machines altogether when he wakes up from his coma.
This does not stop Hundred from engaging the next plan of The Architect, by hiring Jason Woodrue to help build a garden that would feed all of Metropolis. He also begins an affair with Woodrue's assistant Susan Linden-Thorne despite being in a committed relationship with reporter Susan Padilla. He also becomes more and more indebted to mobster Bruno Mannheim, who provides him services (donating the land for the Aether Harvester, threatening Hundred's reporter friend Matty Roth when he gets too close to discovering it, and arranging for the assassination attempt to help boost Hundred's popularity). Hundred is aware his life is beginning to get out of control, but seems helpless to stop it.
Presumed Democrat. Appeared in Ultimate Ex Machina Current Status: Unclaimed
The Guardian (William Cayce) William Cayce was a medic in the Marine Corp, he served his country until he was injured in the line of duty and honorably discharged. Returning home to Hub City, he learned that his niece had been killed in a wave of violence that had swept through the city. Blaming this on the source of the crime, mob boss Mario Falcone, Cayce devoted his life to cleaning up the city so that no others would suffer the same fate.
He put his all into the new job, gaining an ally in Irwin Schwab (Ambush Bug) a local information merchant, hacker and inventor. But it's not until Cayce allies with Catman (Thomas Blake), that he's able to put the myriad plans that litter his apartment into action, first targeting Mario Falcone himself and running him out of town.
Cayce generally drives the Siberian, an armored and weaponized car of his own design, while Catman takes the front line, but when Catman leaves for Ashram, Cayce takes on the identity of The Guardian, and begins protecting Hub City more directly alongside Ambush Bug.
It is here that he raises the ire of the VATF, the Vigilante Apprehension Task Force, created by Hub City's mayor Armand Krol and Hub City Police Commissioner Kristen Kramer to specifically put a stop to the actions of Catman, Guardian and Ambush Bug. They begin to battle the VATF throughout the city, which leads to the VATF discovering his apartment, nearly destroying it. Appeared in Ultimate Catman Current Status: Claimed in Ultimate Catman

Forced into the position when the Sheriff threatens him, he offers his soul in exchange for the power to overcome Robin Hood, Maid Marion (Madam Xanadu), and Jason Blood (Etrigan the Demon). Even the extra power does little to assist him, as he meets his end when Marion slits his throat in battle shortly thereafter.
Sir Guy comes back to Earth as part of Lady Blaze's demon army in 2013, and he immediately seeks revenge upon Xanadu for his earlier death, but he is sent back to Hell with the rest of the army by Lucifer Morningstar, unable to get his revenge. She is also prone to rushing to judgment, smashing through Lex Luthor's windows to interrogate him, attacking Superman relentlessly when she had confused him with Bizarro and directly assaulting the ARGUS facility. Though Superman preaches patience, her relentless belief in herself has helped a great deal, and has impressed even some of her most stringent enemies, breeding something of respect from Lex's amazonian bodyguards.
She was a tremendous ally to Superman, although she was also working with her father General Zod at the same time, alerting them to the benefits of life on Earth and it's suitability as a possible colony site. Part of this was using her civilian identity as a cover, gaining an ability to contact the other Kryptonians through a position at Metropolis' STAR labs, and covering up anyone else's discovery of the incoming Kryptonian ship.
When Luthor and the forces of ARGUS launch an attack on the presumed hostile Kryptonians, Karen had to choose whether her loyalties would remain with Clark and Earth, or with her people, especially her father, General Zod.
