Ok the 1st issue is up. Pardon the grammer errors and all. I was learning to use the spell check here and I learned on the 2nd post , came back and re-edited both spelling wise.
But happy reading and seeing what you like of Ultimate Hawkman. A secret Files deal will follow.

Good stuff so far. Nothing really earth shatteringly new but it looks like you're having a lot of fun writing it. And don't worry about grammar, I think we all have our issues with grammar.

Sure, there's grammar issues but you're taking chances with the material and that's great. If you get a crazy idea that might be too crazy, do it anyway because God knows I don't want to see the same old thing I've already seen in comics. If I want that, I'll go read the comics, know what I mean?
But yeah man, nice job. I'm impressed by the speed with which you got the first issue up.

Solid stuff. Am I correct in assuming that Dr. Fox is a nod to Hawkman's creator Gardner Fox?

The backstory as time grows will become more changing. The story later this year will explore Nth Metal and how it came to be in Egypt.

Solid stuff. Am I correct in assuming that Dr. Fox is a nod to Hawkman's creator Gardner Fox? Yes it is. I wondered how many would catch it. I was gonna have a doctor character and decided he should have that as a last name. To honor him.

I can't believe I didn't review this. I read right when you updated. Anyhow, I liked it. Some issues with grammar, but it was updated relatively quickly, so I can't really fault that. But I do like the idea and it does seem to be rather original. I look forward to read more.

The second issue was very interesting. I'm guessing that you're building Lanton into a villian of the kind who does a wrong thing for an understandable reason. Also I liked the nod to Hawkman's convoluted continuity with the scene where he first introduces himself as Hawkman after first almost introducing himself as Khu Fu. Very well done over all, I'll be looking forward to the next issue.

Well the thing with Lanton is he starts out a very nice guy. Its what happens next that changes him. I did that wink to Khu Fu there as where he started. So thanks for noticing it.

Well I just posted #3 up . It concludes the origin of Fadeaway Man. So I hope everyone likes it . Its a bit of a departure for Anton Lamont as a origin. Plus I throw a wink to the JSA and Vietnam concept a poster wanted to do.

Took me a second reading to fully appreciate the story and picture it in my head (as I like to do). Its good. I'm enjoying the build up and introductions of the characters, like the detective- man I like detectives... Love the nods to history that can expanded upon (eg. JSA). The main thing I find frustrating, and its probably just my eyes, is the blue text thoughts, which I find really hard to read. Anyway. Keep up Hawkman. (Oh and I will be curious if he comes up with a better name than 'Hawkman')
And bring on Ray Palmer!

I'll be bringing Palmer in soon . I won't give it away. But I will be introducing him soon in a new way. Glad ya like the JSA move. I know some here posted they want to go with them being in Vietnam . So i decided to expand on that. The writer who does the JSA can bring it home from there.

Nice work. Yeah grammar. Some strange phrasing. But it's clear you know where you're going with it. Keep 'em coming.

And with you, I am all caught up at the moment.
Darn you for taking my colored text idea! I loved the JSA mention. And I'm looking forward to Hawkgirl.

Issue #4 of Hawkman is up and concludes my 1st arc on Hawkman. I hope everyone likes it and the epilogues I dropped. Which will be a huge arc later this year. One that will be something that makes everyone go WTF.

Nice conclusion. Next time I get some free time and need to read something, I'll make sure to check out all 4 to best appreciate it.
Anton went out pretty easily though for something a couple of issues in the making. If it wasn't for your version of Hawkman, I'd call shenanigans on the first super villain being beat that easily.
Also... Yay! Hawkpeople. Or wait...shouldn't that be a no? Titans Together!
