As always, we won't make anyone do anything other than simply write but if you all pitched in, it could make my job a little easier given how behind I am. I'm going to try to get continuity up to date.
First up...
Locations If you know a location that has a hero or major recurring characters in it, please let me know either in this topic or through PM. It can be your own characters or ones you know simply from memory.
Just please let me know.
Deaths If any characters has died, please let me know. Preferably with Comic and Issue Number.
Used Characters Let me know if a character has been used so that they can be marked as so on the claims list. If they're your own character and they've secretly been used, then PM it to me and I'll still mark them.
---
There are other things I need but for now, I'm working from the ground up and I'm a good two months behind. This will help me greatly and will benefit the site in general with our shared continuity.

Do you want me to list locations in the past? Or just present ones. Going with just the present right now. I honestly can't give you a proper answer for that until I get caught up with Demon Knights but if you're wanting to be referenced (like say in Shazam) or leave open the potential for crossover then a general time period (no need for exact date. Century or Centuries work) and general locations would be great. I'll probably end up treating it like Space with its own little section.

Well I asked for two reasons, so let me elaborate.
1. In Demon Knights I have a lot of immortal characters, so they move around a lot and I'm not going to point out where they were for every time period. However, King Arthur and such were pretty much always in Camelot in the past. Do you want that pointed out?
2. Aquaman is set in 2007 right now. Some of the locations will change when it jumps to 2013. Do you want the 2007 locations posted or just wait?

1. Staple Camelot will be fine. We can potentially note the characters that jump around the Camelot Period if it doesn't spoil things for you.
2. Hmmm. Don't mess with Aquaman just yet. I'll read it soon and PM you personally to see how best to make it fit. Now if you have actual Locations (you don't need the people there) then that can be listed.

Nope, if you read Authority/Planetary Special you would know Mars was the fifth planet in the solar system-now the asteroid belt. That at least was where J'onn J'onnz the Martian Manhunter came from and they called it Mars. (though you may later learn that Barsoom became known by later settlers as New Mars but J'onn never experienced that.... -M

Okay... MRP, as an Admin, you can go in there and fix it up to your proper team formatting or whatever.
The rest of you... Don't do what he did, please. The list already exists. Just do it that way. Only need a clarifier if it's like "home" for John Stewart.
That said, MRP has been updated to the Locations.

So far the Locations topic has been updated with all the info given so far (to the best of my ability). Specifically MRP and his descriptive list and Jay with his lack of people under his cities were a tad difficult. I did manage to figure out that curve ball that Star threw me with Hell though (thanks to Buck for that one). It's my fault for not phrasing things specifically. My bad.
We do actually have a locations topic. It's under the continuity subboard. Just look up a bit in Author Discuss.
I have a specific format that I do for it (right now to keep things simple).
1. A Character matters under a location if that is the city they protect/most their adventures take place in. EX: Batman protects Gotham.
2. A Character matters if they are a major or recurring character and thus would be (semi) public knowledge under a city. EX: Lex Luther fits but Random Super Villain B that got thrown behind bars doesn't.
3. A character matters if they live in or have a headquarters under a location. EX: John Stewart lives in New York EX: Authority have a HQ in Ivytown.
4. Active members of a team are listed under that team even if they are also listed elsewhere as hero or residing. Ex: John Stewart... again.
5. You can have characters under more than one location that they're known for. EX: Flash of the the old universe (and I'm assuming this one too)
General Example Oa -Guardians of the Universe -Green Lantern Corps ~John Stewart ~Hal Jordan ~Kilowog
So you see... That's where you'd find the Guardians of the Universe. It's the Base of the GLC. John Stewart and Hal are members of the GLC despite having cities/homes elsewhere. Kilowog is a major recurring character.
Apologies if this sounds complicated.
In the future. Just give me the location and the character(s) that should be listed under there. Added qualifiers as needed. For the most part, this is information that would be known IN UNIVERSE. Yes, that even means your secret HQ isn't quite so secret cause something even more super secret really knows that you are there... or rather, it's possible.
As to why cities are listed alphabetically under the States instead of grouped by states, that's because we may know Keystone City but not know that Jay put it in Kansas.

Used Characters marked on the MCL
MRP's Planetary and Authority has been updated through great effort of the Ulti-Monitor to wade through his wall of Supporting/Wallpaper text: 8:12 PM (EST), 2/11/13
Mezzaro's Action Comics and Supreman updated: 8:38 PM (EST) 2/11/13
Drake's Shazam has been updated: 8:47 PM (EST) 2/11/13
(EDIT: And break as the Ulti-Monitor watches what it is to Be Human)
Stardrifter's Demon Knights updated: 10:11 PM (EST), 2/11/13
liquidsword34's Green Lantern Corps has been updated: 10:18 PM (EST), 2/11/13
Jay's Flash has been updated (I think... his screwy formatting leaves me unsure with wallpaper): 10:29 PM (EST), 3/11/13 ---
FINISHED with the MCL having 665 views. Lucked out. Whoohoo.

The above titles have been updated to the best of my ability for their used characters. I still need proper Flash locations and MRP needs to fill his stuff out in whatever form that makes sense.
If you see a mistake, make note of it and I'll fix it.
--- Have yet to receive proper info on the following titles:
-Aquaman (Will be discussed with Star) -Ex Machina -Hellblazer -Wonder Woman
All in all, you have the Ulti-Monitor's thanks. This tedious work that is a boon to us all goes so much faster with your help. Now I'm off to read Aquaman. Possibly pretty up Adrini's claims so they can simply be pasted onto the MCL tomorrow.
Still, I'm surprised. No deaths? At all? Not even characters that start dead? Star's a unique situation but the rest of you? For shame.
