I'd be interested. As long as people stick to schedule and such, it should work. With Elseworlds you don't have to worry about things like claims as much, so hypothetically if you're third on the waiting list you could start writing your arc way before you have to worry about deadlines. That could help alleviate some problems. I'm not too sure about how to solve the stepping on toes issue really.

Elseworlds is a nice idea. I remember Zeke's site had it for awhile as well before the relaunch or revamp that site did. A shared Universe is nice on a lot of levels and crippling on a lot to creativity . Because a lot of fun is the creation of different things and fun. To me its why DC suffered in the post Crisis. In the rush to create one solo shared Universe ...it ruined the fun of those silver-age and bronze age crossovers. It ruined what made Kamandi and other alternate world takes so unique. Don't get me wrong ..I can understand a shared universe to a point. But once it drives away the fun wacky things like a future world and city ran by mutated dogs and all ...Its kinda restricting in a sense. Maybe my tastes have changed as I have gotten older I suppose. If you guys decide to do Elseworlds good luck with it and those who do the fun What If stories and all.
