So, I assume everyone has read Trinity War? I hope so. What do people think of this event leading into...another Event?
Not sure I'm all that fussed about the Villains Month. A lot of my titles have been cancelled, leaving me without Demon Knights and Dial H, which is a real crapper.
There's a Dial E for Evil in Justice League this month, and some duplicate issues I'll get in the form of Aquaman and Wonder Woman and JLD, but otherwise, I'm missing a lot of comics. Not sure I want another villain focus on Arcanne instead of the Seeder, but, I guess Soule hasn't done me wrong so far.
What do people think of the Trinity War thing? Of Forever Evil?

I thought Trinity War was great until the final issue where it was revealed (And I paraphrase IGN here) "to be a bloated Forever Evil Issue #0. Not to mention the plot holes surrounding Pandora and her box because of it. Although I haven't seen anyone mention those yet.
I miss Demon Knights but I didn't like the final two issues to Dial H. Too rushed for my taste. Felt like I was missing a couple the whole time.
There also has to be at least a couple of good issues to spun out of Villain's Month even if the rest are crap and I agree an issue focusing on Seeder would be more interesting than Arcane. Heck, Relic is getting an origin issue and he is newer than Seeder.
I think Forver Evil might be interesting concerning Earth 3, but I won't hold my breath after issue 23 of Justice League. Oh, I am curious about Dial E. Apparently there are 20 artists, or something like that, that are working on twenty different pages and a new villain each page. That sounds like a train wreck waiting to happen, but one that sounds interesting to see.

Trinity War had some nice art. I really do enjoy Doug Manhke. I think he would be perfect if DC pulled their finger out and did what needs to be done I.E. A MARTIAN MANHUNTER SERIES NOW, PLEASE. Also, a Cyborg Series as he is the only allegedly founding member of the JLA what don't have one. Why, you say? We know why.
ANYWAY, aside from the factors in the Trinity War such as the JLD being essentially irrelevant aside from that point in which Constantine goes "Nah, I've got proper faenights from being corrupted' I thought Forever Evil was....boring. It was boring and I don' really go much for Finch. Something about the way he lays panels out I find really, really dull.
All my comics are cancelled eventually. Defenders, Demon Knights, Dial H, Frankenstein, Ress Man. Sigh. Dial H? That was a strange beast - I do believe that Mieville was playing a long game. I think you can pin point when the editor said "Yeah, sales are crap. Wrap it up, Bruv." and of course, as we know from various Mieville novels, he can't do that with limited space. So, I can see why it was basically a confusing ball ache.
I want to see twenty pages by twenty different artists. That'd be an awesome experiment and I think a fitting end to the nature of Dial H. The Relic Issue I picked up on a whim, and enjoyed it a lot, although it so, so reminded me of the Galactus Origins.
So...I'm not sold. Who knows? I'm just hoping for a Manhunter/Cyborg comic, Duncan Rouleau to return to the metal men and the return of the Elongated man.
