So I had an idea I wanted to throw out and see if anyone might be interested. My idea was for anyone interested to toss their series in a hat to allow other writers to write a stand alone story for them.
Obviously we all have specific plans for our series and so it would only work if you got your series to a point where someone could do a one shot, non arc related story or side story. And of course there's kinks to work out like if it could count to your deadline or if it would be its own separate thing. And of course the Holiday killer deal is coming up and takes precedent.
So really this is just to gauge interest in the idea. Then we can work out the details if there is interest.

I'd be willing to throw in either or both of my titles for something like this, either for a single issue or maybe a set number of issues.

I'm not opposed to the idea. Perhaps we can do it as a miniseries like a What If this author wrote such and such title type of series. That way if people do have a tight continuity it could still be done.

The appeal to me would be to play in someone else's series for an issue. Making them elseworlds defeats the purpose in my eyes.

I see where you are coming from, but also if some people have got crossovers and other things planned trying to cram a solo issue in that might be to much. I'm just saying these things as ideas not trying to change the concept I was just throwing that out there as an idea.

I wouldn't mind doing something like this, as long as there was oversight from the original writer(s) to make sure no toes get stepped on. It could open the doors for some crossovers with characters as well.

I'd definitely be into that. I mean, I'd want to get my title more established before I do that, but it is a really cool idea.

I'd be in for writing a one-off title for someone else's series (if I can find some inspiration- as always). As for my title, this time around I'm trying to be pretty structured in what I have planned... but maybe some sort of side-story or prequel? Anyway- tossing my hat in the ring.
