I wish to have my writing reviewed, and see if I'm indeed worthy of writing a title (being the youngest member of the boards, correct me if I'm wrong, at the tender age of sixteen). I have a FanFiction.net account, and that's where I mostly post my works. Here's a Batman and Robin story I did for my school paper, if anyone wants to see: (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6330373/1/BATMAN_Dark_Knight_Meets_Boy_Wonder) Any and all constructive criticism would be appreciated.

Also, here's a little snippet from the prequel to the story posted I'm currently wokring for, also for my school paper:
* * *
1987
Thomas and Martha Wayne were the richest couple in Gotham City. They basically had it at the palm of their hands. Thomas was a billionaire philantropist, always heavily poured into his work whilst his darling wife Martha, ever so beautiful in his eyes, would always stay by his side and comfort him.
"Loosen up and relax a little, honey."
She'd always say. She always thought Thomas was too much of a workaholic, always pressured with the burden of running an "empire". But, of course, come the rewards. The Waynes were the richest couple in Gotham City. Hailed as its "king and queen", however the Waynes themselves weren't too keen on that. They were humble and respectful.
Thomas had a puzzled look on his face while he sorted out some papers.
"Thomas." Martha let out a soft whisper.
No matter how sunk in Thomas was with anything, the voice of Martha always seemed to snap him back into the real world. It had a lovely sound, something that could soothen Thomas no matter how stressed he was.
"Yes, dear?" He stood up from his seat leaned over to her, who was on the couch watching TV.
She looked deep into his eyes, and he could feel there was some news to come out of her mouth. Whether good or bad, he couldn't tell at the moment. Martha's stare was something Thomas could never seem to get himself out of. It was, in the least, hypnotizing. Thomas felt that whenever he would look into his loving wife's eyes, everything would stop. He felt time slow down. He felt the wind running across his face, gently caressing his cheeks. The sounds from the television seemed to fade away from his ears, the more and more Martha's gaze locked him. Her eyes, a deeply colored blue, would never cease to amaze him. When he was worried, one look at her and he was automatically reassured everything was okay. He could never seem to get himself out of her stare. But whoever said he wanted to get out of it?
"The test came out positive." the words came out of her mouth. She was calm and collected, yet her voice was mixed with excitement.
"What test?" Thomas asked, even though he knew exactly what she was talking about. He may have wanted Martha to say the words herself, knowing it would be the happiest words he'd ever hear his entire life, next of course to Martha's "I do" back when they exchanged rings two years ago.
"The pregnancy test. I'm pregnant, Thomas!" she could hardly contain herself. She shouted this as tears began streaming down her cheeks, her cheeks turning slightly red, while she sported a smile that showed the brightness of her teeth.
Tears began build up Thomas' eyes as well. His heart was pounding with joy and excitement. They both smiled at each other, and for a moment, time began to stop fro both of them. They were locked in each others' eyes.
"I.. I'm..." Thomas couldn't think of anything to say, he said in between small chuckles.
Martha put her index finger in the middle of Thomas' lips, "Shush. It's okay, honey." she said with a smile.
"If it's a boy, we'll name him Bruce, just like you've always told me."

Well Wayne were not all pro writers I'm sure. Just go to the claims list and see whats avliable and make a pitch on it to write man. Pretty easy to get started here.

And on top of reading, another great way to get better and writing is to keep writing. So yeah, read and write. This site is perfect for that.

Thanks for the warm replies! I'll go on right ahead to the claims section, but if you guys could suggest to me a title that best fits my style, that'd be really helpful. Are there any strict rules for in-universe continuity I should follow once I get a title?

Two biggest things are
A.Don't create events that write other writers in to a corner i.e. don't make Metropolis get nuked since that would effect the writer of Superman and anybody else who wants to use Metropolis.
B. Check with other authors before using their claimed characters in any way.
