What did you guys pick up this month?
I know it was all a little light on the ground this month in terms of comics coming out but I picked up;
Artifacts Manhattan Projects New Avengers Aquaman Batwoman Forever Evil ARGUS & Justice League Dark
I'm enjoying Aquaman still, though sad that Pelletier had to share this months issue with another artist.
Batwoman seems to have lost something in the transition from Blackman and Williams, I don't know if it's the style or something more intrinsic. I trust Andreyko though, his Manhunter was a wonderful. so I'll give it some more time to develop.
New Avengers, oh, I do love me some Hickman. I think the massive Space Opera he has created. in particular the characters that come from the universe threatening events in New Avengers. Infinity was alright, but I have a feeling we'll be seeing Thane in New Avengers rather than Avengers itself.
Additionally, I finished reading the 90's Ray series, and have started Omega Men, which so far, has been fantastic.
Whats everyone else reading?

I'm planning on picking up All-New X-Factor tomorrow. Maybe Avengers World, maybe All-New Invaders. Definitely picking up All-New X-Factor.

In my last major move I lost three and a half college crates of Green Arrow comics going back to the 70s. Presently I am reading the issues I am buying off amazon in a rebuilding effort.

I've been picking up way too much lately. My pull list has ballooned to a huge number of books I don't want to type up for fear of giving myself a mild heart attac, but I'll list what I've really enjoyed lately
Five Ghosts is a series I passed up till it ended up on everyone's end of the year list and I decided to pick up the first trade and my goodness was that good. Beautiful art with a throwback vibe to it.
Aquaman has continued to be good even under Jeff Parker's pen.
Superman Unchained #5 really turned the book on it's head and it's gone from a book was ready to drop to one I can't wait to get next month.
I read the first issue of Prophet and put that trade down was a very odd in abad way read for me and I doubt I'll pick it back up.

I'm reading...way too much honestly. So I'll just throw out th really good ones. I haven't had anything from the second half of December yet, but I'm excited for it.
Anyway, here goes:
Superior Spider-Man, I've loved every single second of it.
Justice League by Johns, it just keeps getting better and better (and I see another Firestorm title off in the next year in my mind's eye).
Forever Evil. Love it so far. Not too daring but not too safe either. It's a nice first event for the New 52.
New Avengers. It's by far my second favorite Marvel Comic behind Superior, and it's a cosmic soap of epic proportions.
Batman. I hated Snyder's first 20 issues, but Zero Year has really struck a cord with me. I'm not sure if it's the writing or if the art is really just hitting mark more and more with this story, but I'm loving it.
In addition to those, I'm picking up trades on Invincible, Morrison's JLA and various other runs through the ages. Also, Brubaker's Cap run on Marvel Unlimited.

Okay, so this week?
Avengers World All-New X-Factor Abe Sapien Phantom Stranger Action Comics ( a combo of Aaron Kuder and the promise of Monsters...) Swamp Thing Earth 2 Revolutionary War (You can't expect me to pass up a Marvel UK revival can you? Aside from having the old Captain Britain costume, instead of the nicer and sleaker Cornell, MI:13 it's nice to see Elson draw some British characters again)
So, Earth-2 again, feels as though it's kind meandering, and ignoring the initial cast in favour of building another alternate JLA. I was worried this might happen, with the new writer coming on the original cast, Jay, Alan, Al...they get forgotten in favour of yet another blood Trinity. Hopefully, I'll be proven wrong.
All-New X-Factor? Doesn't have the sparkle the other X-Factor had, yet. Avengers world - big scale, big consequences, feeling as though it's missing something. Phantom Stranger, kind of losing me, with this blight thing. I have little to no interest in it at this point.
Swamp Thing however, sweet god, that was bloody amazing. Honestly, Charles Soule is way, way better than Synder. Rot World sapped both Swamp Thing and Animal Man of a lot of momentum, only for Charles to storm it back with this amazing run. So, so impressed.
