Whenever I sit down to write for the UDCU lately, I have Les Miserables on as background noise. There's just something about the conflict between Wolverine and Jor-El that gets me in the correct mood to write here. It also makes me really, really want to find a title and character where I can shamelessly get away with characters introducing themselves every time they enter a scene.

I don't see how this is a confession. I once wrote with a person that used Disney soundtracks when writing. I listen to Childish Gambino or some prog-metal when I write. If you write with Les Mis on in the background then that is fine, do what you do.

I confessed mostly to start a random topic for discussion...
And to announce my desire to find a reasonable character who in every scene they're in, says their name.

Personally, I usually listen to Christopher Drake (he does a lot of the DC Animated movie scores).

It happens. I listened to death metal when I was writing the Mia rape scene. It helps.

Jack is a fan of old things and I've always seen him as kind of a rocker type, so it's been Elvis, Chuck Berry, Carl Perkins, Buddy Holly and the like.
