I really don't care how the family tree works out. It's a female character that got thrown under the bus for no reason whatsoever. I'm okay with that 0% of the time period. PERIOD. I've dropped seveal other shows for the same sin.
And with the coloring and name, let's be honest, she's Bab's mom. Unless there's a twin somewhere, that's just the case. And I'm not going to lie, I want the fruit of that womb. badly.

I'm not going to start this argument. I'll simply say she's more compelling than she was when she appeared sane and leave it at that.

If you want, but I get really tired of comics and women in refrigerators.
I take that back. They took his wife and the mother of his children and turned her into a homicidal parent killing criminal. Because, apparently.
Show is more dead to me then ever. That's pathetic, who did the actress piss off?

Not about the actress pissing anyone off. It's TV writing. They noticed her character was often critiqued as the worst part of the show, so they changed her. It's like Ward on AoS. He wasn't always intended as a bad guy (I've personally talked with a writer's assistant on the show). You're also not using women in refrigerators correctly, as she's both her own, well-developed character (evil doesn't mean boring), and Gordon doesn't really give a rat's ass about her anymore. Plus, she's alive.
Anyway, if you respond again, I won't. I don't want to have this conversation.

I dropped Gotham after 3 episodes, not just because it was terrible, so was Arrow, but because it just feels so pointless. Literally all the interesting stuff can't happen because of the timeline. Also while I can't fully comment from what I've heard I agree with Adrini about the crap they've done to Barbara.

Believe it or not people actually car about these characters. They aren't things you can rape and break and abuse and not expect people to walk away. When setting up for the second generations gets involve, which is the point of the show at the end, it's even more important. These are highly iconic characters in a highly iconic world. Screwing that that is going to turn people off. If we want fanfiction there's a whole site for it already.

I blame Smallville. 10 years of it showed execs that heroes before they were heroes can make lasting tv shows.

Some of the Gotham stuff in the beginning was okay. Gordon when he was really sticking it to the corrupt cops. Oswald being a magnificent little bastard. But by the end of the first season it was unwatchable. Barbara in particular got the Laurel treatment.
I'm going to give Flash a chance when I have time. Arrow I'm absolutely done with. I may pop back in to see Constantine show up. It's criminal that Arrows on season 4 but Constantine is canceled.
It's not DC related, but the Awesomes on Hulu is, well, awesome and I highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed the Flash season 2 premiere today. Earth 2 concepts seem to be coming through quickly. I'm excited for Arrow season 4 tomorrow.

I watch the shows on Hulu and I'm very much looking forward to seeing both premieres. Although I am more excited for Flash.

Eh, it was okay. First off, Henry's logic near the end was BS. Second, Thawne wouldn't just give Barry STAR Labs, even if he respects him. He freaking hates his guts. Third, WHAT THE HELL? BARRY WAS FINE WITH FUCKING KILLING SOMEONE!! Even Ollie's basically anti-killing now. Unless Atom Smasher is secretly alive (which they didn't hint at at all) then that's OOC for not just comic-Barry, but TV-Barry too. Overall I liked it, but the killing thing really stuck with me.

I'm still watching the Arrow premiere but I love that they're acknowledging nobody in there right mind would want to be mayor when they've all been killed.

Flash's newest episode was awesome, especially after the first episode of the season that was all over the place.

That Supergirl pilot was great, which isn't something you can say about many other superhero pilots, just Flash really. Obviously there were problems but most of them were the normal problems that come with a pilot so I think this series is going to be great.
