Well Supergirl's second episode just destroyed any doubts I had about this show going forward. This has the potential to become the best superhero show on T.V very quickly.

So I don't like double posting but damn that Arrow episode was amazing. Unless his final two episodes manage to be really big improvement on his show I'd say this was the best episode he's been in. I'm disappointed he won't be able to show up again, Matt Ryan's Constantine deserved better than he got on his show.

I'm going to go ahead a say that Supergirl won't see a second season. Those ratings are dropping quick.

I'm going to go ahead a say that Supergirl won't see a second season. Those ratings are dropping quick. Historically, every genre show has done that. See Gotham, Agents of SHIELD, Flash, and Arrow for more details.

Those shows aren't on CBS

Yeah, but Gotham's on Fox, which is where genre shows go to die. Shows like Elementary and Scorpion are very much "genre" shows, but they've remained on air despite considerably worse ratings than Supergirl. Honestly, I don't know where your fear is coming from. Supergirl is doing fine. Great, even. The second episode debuted very well, and the third did more than fine. If it continues to steadily drop, then sure, it might not make it. I just don't see it happening. AoS and Gotham dropped considerably (particularly AoS) and they're both on air.

That Legends of Tomorrow trailer looks amazing. Very fun looking series. I loved the Batman and Superman hints. I read that they will meet Connor Hawke!!!!

I would be happy with both of those if they ended up being true.

Who introduces themselves with being from East London without an East London accent? That's got to be the most middle-class accent I've heard!
Mind you, it is better than the horrible Welsh/English weird accent Constantine has. He's supposed to be from bloody Liverpool!

Well maybe that's what East Londoners sound like in the future?

Anyone who's ever been to London would seriously doubt that.
If anything it's going to go the way of being like Yorkshire, or Jordie and being a proper regional dialect that nobody can understand.
Particularly in America, as I understand it, Cheryl Cole got kicked off X-Factor because nobody could understand what she said. Allegedly.

I really enjoyed the team up episodes. Vandal Savage was pretty generic bad guy fun in a good way. Pretty good effects with the Hawks.
Even more excited for Legends now.

Well Titans is officially not happening, not surprising considering we'd heard nothing about it. I'd be disappointed but considering we knew almost nothing and there was no casting so I don't really care. Mostly I'm just wondering if this means Nightwing can finally appear on Arrow. tvline.com/2016/01/07/tnt-titans-cancelled-pilot/

TNT always seemed like an odd fit for the show anyway. That never made sense to me, outside of "super heroes are pretty big, why don't we get a super hero show".

They do librarians, which is basically a hero show. I think it would have been good, except for the writer.

So Legends of Tomorrow, that was awesome. Surprisingly Captain Cold and Heatwave were the best parts of the episode, well Heatwave being great was surprising, Cold is one of the best characters in the Arrow 'Verse so that's less surprising. Unsurprisingly however Hawkman was the worse part and as with his previous appearances I'm not fully sure how much of it is intentional. This may be my favourite premiere of a superhero show, which admittedly isn't saying much, but everything was really well done, the characters were introduced and we got their personalities, we have the mission statement. With the Arrow 'Verse, Supergirl, and AoS it is a great time for comic book T.V. shows.
