The Lances were a needed escape and Jade found that the two adopted her almost instantly, and was quickly woven into the family. With Black Canary I's passing and her friend's loss she turned away from the gym and its memories and began to follow her mother's path. It was only after the birth of her son that she realized what she was doing and took the first way out she could think of - Star City, where her friend had once again been spotted. Age: 27
History: The daughter of Lady Shiva and Ted Grant, Jade got used to being pulled in two directions from a very young age. As time went on her mother used whatever means necessary to see her daughter was "made ready", and saw that that she got as much Talon training as she could. Out of desperation, Jade began to hide at her father's gym. There she met Kate Kane, who became a training partner, and later the Lances. The plan worked as she currently lives there with new husband, Roy Harper, and the son she can now keep safe.
