I really liked the plot with Max in control unknown to everyone. I enjoyed that plot. Them meeting Checkmate and all was pretty cool. I did like seeing Fire and Ice in this.

Good issue. Really nice character interaction. You do a good job with that. Still, hope there's some action coming soon. Keep em coming.

Issue four is up and finally the overall setting up of events is over. As always thanks for the compliments on the previous issue.
That's good, since that's what I'm aiming for. Was worried I would mess it up.

I'm glad, I wasn't intending to offend.
4 was good, if a little short. Not really knowing the character- I'm guessing this is kind of his origin story. It's well written and I'm certainly interested in who the bad guy is.

I have not a clue what's going on and I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing. Not sure if it's my hasty reading based on your PM that got me to reread bits and then read 4. And I wonder what GL died to have required a new bearer.

Heh. I actually still have an issue with that little paragraph. A green ring to wield in the name of rage? Given the context of the paragraph, I'm not sure if it's meant to be green and somehow something happens to it or you didn't edit that bit out into red.

Got five up, was gonna be a one issue story but it was getting too big for my taste so putting it as a two parter, so this issue is mostly setup for six, so I can get on with Odd man.

Good inbetween issue. Certainly have a lot of aspects going. Strange to see Catman's future death. Neat to see the little link it with what is happening in SHADE. I'm certainly interested to see what's happening with Maxwell Lord.

Really like what you are building here. I'm asucker for alternate universe/future storylines so the Catman storyline has me intrigued.

Got issue six up, this two parter has now become a three parter, next issue is gonna have all the reveals which is gonna pave the direction for the series as a whole. I'm asucker for alternate universe/future storylines I'm the exact same ;D. |

One thing I'm liking about this arc is that it feels like Joseph is the star. The earlier issues made it feel like Blue Jay was.

I can definitely agree with Wachter this is the first real good feel we have gotten for Joesph this far into the series. You are doing some really weird and fantastic things with this book and I can't wait to see where all these threads end up.

Great issue, look forward to seeing more Maxwell Lord- such a great bad guy. Liked Jo in this one. Interested in who the hell Antonine is. Keep it up.

Its still hard for me to view Max as a bad guy. I know DC did that. But to me , he's the bumbling , money crazy 80's guy who led a team lol. I hope later we get a solo origin focus on Maxwell Lord. One that details his history in the UDCU. I liked the recent read and Antione showing up to talk to Joseph . I also liked Blue Jay and Silver having some focus. A slight complaint will be ...you need to use super hero names. Because some of us have no clue who Antonine is . Or that Joseph is the SHIELD. So my slight deal is , use the super hero name from time to time ok.  Really liked it where its going though. |

Finally got caught up on the six issues plus interlude. Lots of interesting bits set into motion, but I feel I am still wanting to know more about how it all fits together. Not so much a payoff for it all but a sense of direction of how it all fits together. What happened to Joseph in Gaza? How does Catman fit into this? What League was he a part of in 2014? Was the white haired woman with no tongue Silver Sorceress or someone else we have already seen? -it seems she was someone we should recognize? Did Silver's trip to the moon have any effect on the battle there? Who is Antione? So many questions and too few answers six issues in. I want more! I hope the next issue is soon in coming....
