Issue #0 was posted. It's kind of short, just trying to get the rust off my writing skills. I wanted to set up the world a little bit so next issue and I can hit the ground running.

Pretty nice. Had to say that I saw the twist ending, but that I loved it.

Yeah, I saw the twist coming as well, but there's nothing wrong with that. Very good first issue, didn't seem like there was much rust to scrape off. While it was short, you did set up the world well. From this issue, I can already get the tone of Metropolis and it's been given its distinct flavor already. Very successful for being so short.
Aslo, just because I'm a continuity whore, are you writing in 2011? So the meteor shower would have taken place in 1989? I only ask because I have a Flashback-ish thing (no pun intended) in my first issue of The Flash that takes place in the early 1990s and I was wondering if I could maybe throw in a quick reference to it, something like "After what happened in Metropolis a few years ago..." or something to that effect. Might as well use the combined universe to the full potential.
Again great issue and it's great knowing that one half of the big two is in great hands.

Thanks and yeah I figured most people would figure out who it was. But it's set now in 2011..So feel free to throw a mention in your story. I've got half my my arc planned, I just need to run through my outline a couple more things to iron out any weird things. It's like riding a bike again, haha.

Good start, like everyone mentioned the twist could be seen coming from a mile away but that doesn't matter because I'm interested to see where it goes. Fighting over a girl usually leads to several buildings being destroyed.

What I thought was the more interesting twist was the idea of Metropolis having to rebuild to greatness after going through a period of darkness where it was more like classic Gotham.

I saw the twist coming too, but it was well done. I like the idea that Metropolis was destroyed by the meteor shower and was rebuilt by Lex. It makes Lex a strong symbol for Metropolis, and more believable why he can do so much and get away with it. Also liked the Mannheim reference and other bits.
Solid start!

Can't wait to see what form Superman takes. Really liked the single setting, made the characters relatable. I thought it was going to be Jimmy as well, Lex way better.
