Alright, first issue is up. Opposite my other series (Ultimate Hidden) I decided to start here with some action to intro the characters, rather than go with a series of origins. I hope to make my cast of obscure characters big round here, and make them something everybody must read. Thanks for checking it out...

It felt too short.
That's not much of a bad thing- it's better than feeling too long- but despite the word count being (as far as I can tell) normal, it just didn't feel that much happened. What did happen was good, being fun to read. Not being familiar with the characters, I assume the last bit will have more relevance in the next few issues, as secrets are revealed? Looking forward to these.

Yeah, was kinda short for my personal taste too, but I wanted to get something out there. Issue 2 will likely come in a short amount of time, with a lot of action and resolution. I have had to make some adjustments as this title will be very integrated with Ultimate Hidden, and characters will be showing up in other titles as well...

I don't think I know any of these characters, but it's off to a great start. A nice mix of introductions and action. I like how you depicted Badb's effects on the team. Nice work.

With you, I'm now caught up.
Unsure how I feel about the issue. Didn't really hold my attention but maybe it's the time. I will say the dialogue at the start was fantastic. You did a good job there.

Yeah, my characters are pretty obscure, which is the way I like it.
Thermal and Quartzite were throw away members of Suicide Squad for a now-forgotten Hawk & Dove revamp mini from the ninties.
Dogg and the briefly mentioned DMZ, along with the to be introduced later Wise Son were members of Milestone's Blood Syndicate (one of the best ninties series out there)
Empty Vee was one of Wildstorm's Intimates, an excellent but mostly obscure title.
Then Backlash and his daughter Jet are Wildstorm mainstays.

I really enjoyed the first issue especially for my complete lack of knowledge of the characters. I'm very interested to see where you go with the title and I agree the dialogue at the beginning was excellent.

I didn't reconize anyone beyond Backlash. So I was wondering who they were. Nice read. I also liked the father/daughter relationship you planted in. I also see how you got the name from at the end with Star Chamber. Nice.
