I've always been partial to Sarah Jane Smith myself.

I'm too young for Sarah Jane Smith and I never caught up on the back episodes before the relaunch. Did love the episode where she and K-9 guest starred in it. Never could get into her spin off though.

Back in high school it was Jo Grant, Sarah Jane Smith, and especially Leeta (hmm the Frazetta fan likes the barbarian woman in leather-go figure. But with the relaunch Rose Tyler became the apple of my eyes. Though I have to say Amy Pond is gaining ground fast. I still have the last 3 episodes and the Christmas special to get to on my DVR yet. I guess the biggest obstacle to Pond as my favorite is that I am still only lukewarm to Matt Smith. I don't dislike him but I haven't completely warmed to his Doctor yet. It's kind of how I felt in the early Peter Davidson years but he emerged as a favorite later (though Tegan and Adrac were part of th the problem withthe early episodes of his run ) -M

I'm probably one of the few Doctor Who fans who has Rose as their least favorite companion.
1. Amy Pond 2. Martha Jones 3. Captain Jack/Rory
And Matt Smith I think finally surpassed Tenant in this last season (or at least he's my favorite incarnation of the 3 so far) but I won't know for sure until/if we reach his death scene.

It's cool. I am probably one of the few fans who likes Christopher E best of the three new Doctor's.
I guess my problem with Matt Smith is that he physically reminds me of Peter Davidson but his mannerisms remind me of Tom Baker and it just cross-circuits the brain cells I have devoted to being a Who fan. I get blurred Doctor syndrome when I watch him. -M

Matt Smith rocks. I'm fairly certain he's the reason I've managed to get into Dr Who. He's so fun and charming.
I'd pick Rory as my favourite companion- he's a fucking Centurion, that has to count for something.

A Good Man Goes To War inspired my issue of Ultimate Speed Force: Requiem: KCPD.
Gotta be in my top 3 favorite episodes. I loved how Amy's telling the story and it turns out to be the badass Centurion and not the Doctor.

Does anyone else find it vaguely odd that we had a new member with the username Rosetyler sign up just after we started this thread? Better be careful wachter, she may be looking for payback from you because you're not a fan -M

This topic was created after she signed up. It's why I have "new girl" in the opening post.
Nothing like being social.

A Good Man Goes To War inspired my issue of Ultimate Speed Force: Requiem: KCPD. Gotta be in my top 3 favorite episodes. I loved how Amy's telling the story and it turns out to be the badass Centurion and not the Doctor. This is also one of my favorite moments from the Matt Smith series. I almost get a little misty eyed hearing Amy's opening monologue. I can't stand Chris E. as the Doctor, David T. was defintely my favorite of the last 3 incarnations. For companions, I'd have to say: "I love you all!" "Except you, Rose Tyler, you stay locked in another dimension." Rory the Last Centurion has to be my favorite though. All he needs is a mop and he's a BAMF.

I always loved Sarah Jane as the best female companion . Amy works best because she likes the Doctor as a friend and is pretty fun to watch her try and save him at times. Never was a fan of Rose or River.

You are all forgetting about Ace. Amy rates very low with me, as I hate most of the stuff that Moffatt gives her to do in the story and I don't think that Karen Gillan can act beyond giving death glares and crossing her arms over her chest.
Rose, Ace, SJS, Captain Jack, Tegan and Donna are my faves.
