I liked it. I'm excited to see where exactly you take their relationship, and I like that Krypto doesn't trust him. I'm also curious where your taking Chemo. Good job, your best issue yet. 8 out of 10 stars.

Interesting direction you are taking the title in. I liked it, but it felt very short, more like I was reading an 8 page back up feature than a lead feature. Look forward to seeing more, and I get a sense that there's going to be something sinister with our pal Jax when all is said and done... -M

Jason Todd-Liefeld, the super angsty time travelling clone with no feet! I planned to write the issue to go a bit longer, but I found that it sort of went together better as two shorter issues than one longer issue and a tiny issue or one very long issue.

Very strong start and a fantastic use of first person.
That said, I probably won't be following the title now that I know the timeline. I have the same issues as Star and it's for that reason I haven't read Hex either. It's not a crack on your writing but with me having to deal with so much continuity about the board, I don't need the distraction of future timeline that nearby unless Kara finds her way to present day UDCU.

Caught up. Your issues are short but make great use of the space with dialogue and action. Great to have a story using first person. Cool stuff.

For some reason I find it easier to frame Supergirl issues as being quite short. I'm not sure why, but it just feels to work better. Oh well, issue 5 is up.

The first person works really well with this title. I'm liking the chemo and Doomsday bits, but it also reminds me I need to sit down and have a pow wow with you since your title has ties to two of my co-written titles. (Hex and Action Comics.) all in well done can't wait for future chapters.

I know I said I wasn't gonna do it but since we're getting so relatively few reviews at the moment, I read Supergirl anyway.
Given that this is an alternate future, I honestly find myself curious to see if Jax shows up in the present. I have a pitch for interconnectivity that'll be posted once activity perks back up that he'd be perfect for so would the first generation version of Chemo...
Okay, spamming aside, fantastic issue as always. While I'm enjoying the Secret Six more because I prefer the story, Supergirl is by far better written. I think it might be the shorter length which makes it so you have less bland parts but I'm not sure. Either way, it's good. I am wondering how Supegirl didn't crack the wall when she hit it though.

I really like this. My only complaint is you claiming Doomsday who I wanted to use for Suicide Squad to lead into a crossover between the Squad and Superman. Jax is the son of Zod right? Just curious since Buck and I claimed Zod for Action Comics. I can't wait for the Chemo fight.

Chris Kent is the son of Zod. Jax-Ur is just an ally.

Oh. I just thought he was because I swear Zod's name is Zod-Ur. I might have been wrong or had simply jumped to the wrong conclusion.

I think you are right. Got it all mixed up for some strange and unexplained reason. Sorry for any confusions that was caused everyone. Also, I am definetly positive now that elite is correct on what Zod's real name is.

Okay first issue read as I prepare for my full return. I am enjoying this. The "to save you I must destroy you" bit is classic dystopian sci-fi and works well in this post-Apocalyptic world you are building with Supergirl. The Doomsday mention was intriguing and I am not a particular fan of Doomsday.
The reveal of Krypton's destruction was good, but it is a big shoe to drop on Kara, so I hope we continue to see the effects and repercussions of this on Kara as a person as the series continues. Will the realization she has lost one home drive her even more desperately to stop Chemo? And if she fails, what would the repercussions of that guilt be in the wake of learning of her home's destruction. You have a lot of fodder here to put Kara through an emotional ringer, a sort of refiner's fire to burn her to her essence and reveal exactly who she is as a character and what your conception of her is. It's a lot of rope you have created, and with that there is always the danger of hanging yourself if it is not executed well.
I look forward to seeing where you go with it.

I'm not sure because you haven't really given an in depth discription of Kara, but it she is as gorgeous and sexy as I remember her being, I am sorely surprised Bloodshot tried to kill her instead of hitting on her.
Besides that strange point, I've always been hot or cold on the Superman mythos:
Azzarello's Luther saga was one of the finest comics in the past decade.
Death of Superman: I had more fun watching Twilight with my wife and daughter.
So please don't hate me when I say your taking a teenaged sex symbol and her dog and throwing her into a dystopian future with creepy bug people is not the kind of thing I exactly look forward to reading.
But, on the flip side, the writing is stupendously marvelous and I believe you capture the essence of 16 year old girl astronauts rather well...and yes, that is a compliment.
This is exactly the kind of story DC would never actually publish and I say good job because it holds a mass amount of creativity in each issue.
I say keep the issues shorter, I think it works better with the tone of the story.
I give your first 5 issue a nice 6.67/10. Keep up the good work and I'll keep reading.

I started so thought, I may as well get it to a nice six issues before Darkseid melts the universe or whatever.
