Not sure how badly I want a 45 year old Shane vs. a pushing 60 Deadman in Hell in a Cell (or how keen I am on the notion that Vince can just boss Taker around like that - especially in recent years he's always been kind of.... above being told what to do. Maybe this Monday will have Taker telling Vince to go to hell, who knows.), but I am at least stoked for Ambrose/Lesnar, since win or lose, Ambrose will at least come out like roses.

I expect a stand-in for Shane in that match or possibly 'Taker walking out and giving Shane/whoever the win, thus setting up a new kind of brand split/war. Shane vs Steph and Trips.

The only problem is that I don't see how you do that in-storyline or out of it.
In storyline, it was established that Shane gets to invoke whatever control pact he had with his father if and only if he gets booked in a match of Vince's choice - not sure how they go from that to "Shane doesn't have to participate in said match". Unless Taker refuses to participate, at which point, what was the point of the announcement, save to hype a match they had no intention of delivering at their biggest show of the year.
Out of storyline, I just don't see how Taker willingly loses a match at Wrestlemania in his home state (especially given that it's likely the last match he wrestles in Texas in his career). That's never been his style. He won't lose when it makes all the sense in the world and he pretty much has to for the story to make sense (see Wyatt, Bray in both Wrestlemania and Survivor Series).
They've booked themselves into a corner - fans are actually excited to see the end of the Authority, yet they've set up a scenario where the Authority can do nothing but continue on.

I agree with you, Eric. They have put themselves in an uneasy position. I'm not sure how they are going to do it, but I believe that Shane is back on tv for the foreseeable future. I expect things to get even more less PG in the coming months. A little here, a little there, nothing too extreme. Time will tell.

Sami Zayn VS Samoa Joe 2 out of 3 falls was absolutely brilliant, one of the best NXT matches in a long time, just wish I didn't know the ending beforehand. As for Roadblock, this is a really weird situation where everything we know about WWE means that Dean's going to lose and Trips will go on to lose to Roman at Wrestlemania, but everything about the set up, and really the only way to save the storyline, says Dean wins and turns the Wrestlemania match into a fatal four way. Also the final issue of the Lucha Underground comic has been posted and it deals with what Black Lotus and Dario Cueto were doing during the break between seasons. Speaking of Lucha Underground the Mil/Puma/Pentagon main event was brilliant, although my favourite part of the episode was Aerostar having nunchucks with neon lights on them. imgur.com/gallery/RXXCI

If you still for some reason aren't watching Lucha Underground next week promises to be the best yet, I don't know how I'm going to wait.

It is the only show that I absolutely need to see as soon as I get access to it every week. It's tied with Legends of Tomorrow for my favourite current show. If you still haven't gotten on board I'm serious that you should watch next week, it promises to be the best episode yet, and if you need to get pumped find a way to listen to Matt Striker hyping it at the end of yesterdays show which manages to sell it as what it will be, all out war.

The first few episodes would annoy me when I would listen to Vampiro. Matt Striker has always been amazing. Vampiro by mid first season got really fun and is better with his banter toasted striker. Now they are the best announce team on air

That's true but they don't really have much competition, although I really like NXT's commentary, mostly Graves.

Aztec Warfare 2. I'm going to try to give my imediate responses but I'm probably going to get swept up in the fight. Obviously there will be spoilers, anyway here we go.
You know I'm beginning to think Pentagon Jr uses Cero Meido a bit to often, his first one this time had nothing to do with anything.
And we're starting off with my favourite wrestler Rey Mysterio so I'm somehow more pumped than I was before. Also Striker is killing it with the introductions.
I don't care how often I see it The Arrow From Hell is always awesome.
Strange how Argenis finally shows back up after the DOD were killed last week.
619!!!!!
I am loving Famous B, I have no idea what his story is building towards but I'm going to love it.
I'm also loving Joey Ryan getting beaten up.
Also loving that Rey's been the only one to eliminate anyone so far even if there's only been two eliminations so far.
"He is the Power Man and the Iron Fist"
Mascarita! I'm was worried he wasn't coming back for season 2.
I love that Cage not affected by glass is an actual thing.
Is this the first time Drago hasn't worn black since coming back in season 1?
I don't think Drago's stepped inside the ring at all yet.
Vampiro knowing the El Dragon Azteca mask is awesome.
So is El Dragon Azteca.
Well it took 19 entrants for them to have someone I don't care, luckily number 20 will be better.
Striker standing up when Vampiro gets slapped is a great touch.
MATANZA!!!!!!! Love that 'the monster' appears on his name plate.
And now for everyone else in the match to get murdered by the guy from Splatterhouse.
So yeah that happened, and it was awesome, so glad that most of the guys who're likely to try to beat Matanza either never actually fought him (Pentagon, Muertes) or had been in the ring for so long it's understandable why they didn't put up more of a fight (Fenix, Ruma, Rey.) All in all this was definitely the best episode of the series and I imagine I'll rewatch it a lot.

Aztec Warfare 2 was amazing. When the Monster came in and started tossing people around I got the WWE big guy vibe from him and I hate that vibe. Then he did a freaking standing shooting star press! Instant fan of him I have become. I like Dragon Azteca jr but my favorite is still Prince Puma.

So Takeover Dallas and Wrestlemania both happened, we got a bunch of great matches, some not so great matches, some surprise finishes, some seriously confusing finishes, and the WWE debut of one of the greatest wrestlers in the world. I think overall I enjoyed NXT more but I've been watching it for a while and only been watch the main roster on PPV's for less than a year.
Outside of Corbin/Aries every match at Takeover was awesome, and even that would have been great on a lesser card. Nakamura/Zayn was easily the stand out and just thinking about the matchups he is probably going to be involved in makes me happy.
But lets get to the big one, Wrestlemania, and the first one I've seen, both live and at all, overall I think it was pretty good, the IC and Womens title matches were amazing, AJ/Jericho was as good as AJ/Jericho usually is. The HIAC was a one spot match and the buildup and eventual execution of the move was great even if everything else wasn't especially the finish which seems to make the entire storyline pointless. Brock?ambrose would have been a great match if the build hadn't raised expectations way too high, I was expecting much more and so this'll be one of those matches that's looked on better in hindsight. That main event, as someone who doesn't hate Reigns as much as most I thought it was a pretty good match which I thought went much shorter than it did in a good way but Hunter's intro was easily the best part of the match, especially Stephanie's intro. Now to wait for Raw to see how much of this actually matters.

So I enjoyed Money in the Bank, I mean I skipped all the uninteresting matches, which were about half of them including the womens match because WWE has stopped caring about womens wrestling, but the tag match was great chaotic fun, Cena/AJ was a great match with an ending that just makes me want to see a rematch, the MITB match was a MITB and thus I loved it and Rollins/Reigns was awesome and Dean cashing in makes me really want to see the eventual Triple Threat, although I hope Dean gets a long run because he's great.

So there's a comedy wrestling promotion in Japan with a belt that has to be defended 24/7, currently it's in America being won by a bunch of indie wrestlers with Joey Ryan posting the title changes on his youtube page. Highlights include a cat winning the title, then forfeiting it for a cat treat and Scott Hall losing the title when he's tricked into reading 'I give up'. All of it's hilarious though here's the playlist that I highly recommend watching, the videos are all less than a minute. www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3t8pkUCo7KKQ5VdMJEMTxu9cj7g5saln

Reminds me of the hardcore title 24/7 rule. Joey Ryan is quickly becoming one of my favorite wrestlers.
