I so want a team up of Tomcat and little Boy-Bat eventually. I could call it Young Fuzzies.
A great issue and I think you understand better than some of us how you transition into new arcs without losing your flow or great change in pacing. Hopefully I'll be able to follow in your example. Bit amusing that the day after I sent you the PM about Gods... you post this. Pretty funny.

Really good. Not much more to say. Keep 'em coming.

I'm all up for Young Fuzzies, they could solve crime, while being cute.
#5 is up, the team isn't complete yet but I wanted to get some missions going. Besides I've got a main team in mind but it'll actually be pretty ongoing as far as different recruits for different missions. Anyway, it's the first part of 2, hope you enjoy, it way a bit harder to write than some other ones. Liked it in the end though.

Another great issue. I like the stuff you are building here.

I hate you so much, Jack. You're really putting the rest of us to shame with your weekly issues. Or at least it feels like it.
Another solid issue. Only problem I had with it is... "evil" children are meant to be scary. There's just something about them in the human psyche that makes them seem freaky. Yet yours really didn't come across as that to me. It's not like it takes away from another great read, it's just my opinion.
As for Young Fuzzies. I think we need at least one more cute and cuddly character before turning it into some sort of thing. Two is not enough. Three though, that's the perfect number. Now who can join Tomcat and Aaron Langstrom in Young Fuzzies?

I agree, the zombie kids really aren't as scary as they should be. Horror writing is something I need to work on.
Maybe Pantha for the 3rd? or Hyena with Summer Day? I don't know much about either but it would add a female in the group. Then we need an evil big game hunter for their nemesis.
Thanks for the replies.

Problem with Pantha would be I think it would be too many cats though she could work. Maybe someone/thing that's not quite fuzzy? Like say Secret? Tommy and Aaron are the only ones who can see her and must solve the mystery of her death?
Maybe a fuzzy alien lantern or a female Timber Wolf?
Edit: Or Krypto?

Detective Chimp as their mentor?... this thing writes itself.

Was a good issue. I like the dynamic between Robotman and Lyta. Though it's ludicrous for them to send Lyta into a dangerous mission having been with them for less than 24 hours with no training whatsoever.
Keep 'em coming.

How do you get these updates up so quickly and still have them be so good? Grrr...
Anywho, this site is incredibly lucky to have had you stumble upon it, however that happened. In my opinion, as of now, this is the title to be reading. And that's saying a lot considering how much talent we have here.

Part 2 up. It's long and skips around a lot, but I hope it can be followed. Appreciate the feedback.

Was very easy to follow. Very nice use of Ivo and I like the things you are setting up down the road.

Was good. I felt the climax was a slight let down. Kinda cliche how the new team member on her first mission saves the day. Ya know? But writing was very well done as always. Keep 'em coming.

#7 up. The good, the bad, and the Weird, it's at least a three parter, possibly four. Now I just have to figure out how I'm going to start my Marvel claim...
Thanks to Buckster, Stardrifter, Miller and Watcher for reading, and commenting, as well as anyone else.

Another great issue Jack. S.H.A.D.E is consistently something I look forward to reading.

I'm going to say that S.H.A.D.E. is the best kept secret on this site. Issue after issue, it's just fantastic. I don't know much about the team from the comics, but I know that the only similar member is Frankenstein. So I have to say A+ for creativity. For a while I was thinking of doing a Seven Soldiers of Victory type title and just throw 7 characters together that may have no relationship in the comics, but would be cool together. Still might do that if I can find a collaborator....
Anyways, good issue as always!

I liked it. Though I felt it kinda silly that Frankenstein was undercover. Needed some proof reading as well. But it felt like a solid caper story. If the dialogue was a little more stylized it could have been Ocean's 11. Keep 'em coming.

Silly- yes, but how cool would Frankenstein look in a pinstripe suit?
#8 up, part 2. Hope it is as fun to read as it was to write. I'm a bit all over the place in this ongoing little arc, fingers-crossed I can pull it together. I just read the new DC Frankenstein: Agent of S.H.A.D.E.- really enjoyable. Their Father Time was a really good idea- dammit.

Another excellent issue you're really tapped into an untouched corner of the DC Universe with this book.

I liked it as well. I simply loved the opening scene. These really strange characters, especially Robotman having a cup of coffee at a diner or wherever was great. You really have a nice ability to juxtapose the normal with the absurd.
I'm really starting to like your cast of characters, especially Robotman and Lyta. As a massive Star Trek fan, Robotman reminds me a lot of the classic outsider type characters like Data, Odo and Spock (my first childhood hero). So that's a massive compliment.
