Ok took me a while but I finally caught up on the rest of the run. I think the Dark Side of the Moon arc moved a little slowly in the first few parts, but picked up in the middle and finished strong. The New Years issue was very good, I heartily approve of the portrayal of Xanadu. I look forward to seeing Time's new form and whats next for S.H.A.D.E.

Thanks heaps for the feedback. Finally posted the first S.H.A.D.E. issue that is set in 2012. Took long enough.
This delves a bit further in S.H.A.D.E. as an organisation and get a bit Weird with a pocket dimension. Hope you enjoy.

Bravo Jack. I read two issues of SHADE a month and I'd rather see DC publish yours. You take a lot of risks in your storytelling methods but they always pay off. Can't wait to see how this arc unfolds.

Nice issue. Looks like you are setting up another interesting arc. I look forward to learning more about S.H.A.D.E.'s history, but please avoid any naval travel for Father Time in 2012, I will not be able to avoid hearing In the Navy Now any time he is aboard a ship and that is an experience I would rather avoid.

Another good issue, as always. I'm not really drawn in by Frankensteins mission ATM, but I did like then character bits leading up to it. Father Time was awesome as always, though why did he have a headress? Keep em coming.

Father Time basically becomes a new person each year (ie is reborn- kind of like when time lords die), he has come back as a native American and is always one to play up his differences (I think its because he's a bit of a show-off but hey, I just write him).
Anyway, #19 up. I liked it. Took too long. It's there. Enjoy.

Ok, the entire time I was reading this issue I had the weird feeling someone was reading over my shoulder. When I turned to look, there were these two old guys up in the balcony, and they really did not have anything good to say about this issue. For gentility's sake, I won't repeat any of their comments.
I on the other hand, got a huge kick out of this issue. Although I have to admit I was kind of hoping the Weird would find two down on their luck roommates who were desperate for food cooking the large yellow bird on an open spit...but well you can't have eveything.
This reminds me of a hysterical game I once played at a gaming convention called the Wacky World of Darkness where the big bad was a mean green demon who lived in a trash can and one of the player characters was a vampire obsessed with counting things.
The street reminds me of several childhood nightmares. As a child I visited the street often, but much preferred the utility company that featured adventures of a certain red and blue arachnid and performances by the future Lucius Fox demonstrating an uncanny ability to easily read passages. However, the street was much less creepy than the neighborhood next door where the guy in sweaters and tennis shoes lived. Ugh still gives me the heebee jeebies.
So if I have one complaint about the issue it is this-overall I feel that the site has had one major deficiency-not enough rampaging gorillas wreaking havok, especially gorillas in berets with guns. To find out that the paragon of gorilla goodness M'siuer Mallah is only an infant and potentially years away from a good rampage was disheartening.

You are a twisted one, Jack.
Another great issue can't wait for more.
