Loved it man. I really am digging the whole going back to the past aspect of it and of course seeing Vandal Savage is always exciting.
I went back and read issue 12 and I must say I'm getting a pretty clear X-Files or even a police procedural vibe from this with the teaser and all.
This is definitely one of the coolest books this site has right now.

#14 up. Shit gets real as the team reaches the moon. A couple more issues before S.H.A.D.E. returns to Earth. Enjoying writing my Victoriana Cosmonauts, taking longer than I hope to get them out but with a bit more free time coming up I hope to be a bit faster. -Hope you enjoy.

Ah Vandal. Why do you have to get so pissed about immortality.
And nice one. I just heard about that Chinese legend with the hare a few months ago from a friend.

Sorry to come so late to the party - I'm working my way through the issues of SHADE at the moment, and I have to say, I am enjoying it.
#0 - This was a nice start. You know what they say about writers throwing away their first chapter? Glad you didn't. I enjoyed seeing a little relationship development between Father Time and Robot Man (Robert Crane, I assume?) anyway, there were some awkward bits in there. I found myself taken out of the story a little bit with the descriptions at the start, of handing the Robot the Umbrella, him putting it up, etc. Nothing too bad - and the revelation he was Indian threw me off as well, when he was described at the start as blonde, Other than that, I really liked the insight and incongruous nature of a Robert in a rain mac with a umbrella on the Eiffel Tower. Very cool, and a great start to the series.
#1 - I like this issue. There's a lot to like, actually. Initially, I wasn't a fan of not revealing the characters name and refering to him as Him, or He was slightly awkward, but the pay off and reveal was worth it. The action scene itself, was well written, though it could have done with a more thorough edit. Some missing words give a confusing read, but that's only the first paragraph - otherwise, I like what I see of Father Time, and I like the build up of the character of Frankenstein and the Bride. I think it might benefit from deep description, but, I'm more than guilty of that myself.
Anyway, more reviews of the issues when I get to them!
Cheers

Nothing wrong with long arcs though I think I'm gonna keep away from more than 4-parters for awhile unless I do multiple issues per month.
Can't wait to see how this all ends. And I admit, a part of me hoped for Vandal's reentry to earth would be the fast way.

Another fantastic issue. Nothing like the romance between a mummy and a small Indian man to end an issue.

Very cool, man. I am definitely loving the kind of dual story telling with the present and 1902. The play off of General Immortus and Vandal Savage is especially fantastic.
Keep it up!

That was terrific my good sir. I love thecrazy stories SHADE has turned out. It's probably the single best title at flexing the creative writing muscle.

Thanks MRP, hopefully more quirky fun to come- and cheers for the loan of Xan.
This issue finally brings me to 2012, which as we know with JLA and other such endeavors, is a big year for us all. Thanks for reading and hope you enjoy.

This was a great issue. Just downright fantastic. Father Time could quite possibly be my favorite character on this site right now. You just give him such a life.
But definitely a great interlude anad gets me excited for what's to come. Can't wait.

Ok have read up through the first part of Dark Side of the Moon now, and I am really enjoying the series. I have to say after the steampunk alien landed on the golf-course and we got the second Retribution I was ready for the Dr. Who theme to kick in and the screen to start swirling in a spiral with the Tardis at the heart. A very Dr. Who-ish vibe to the start of this arc. Loved the bit with Klarion too. Is it bad I hear him speaking in his Young Justice animated voice now"?

Caught up. Very nice work as always. I like all the connections to other series and such going on. And if nothing else, you brought a smile to my face with two simple words.
Moon Mummy.
That's a B movie I want to see! Keep em coming.
