Was a well done issue but a bit of a downer. Just a whole lot of depressing scenes. And I didn't quite understand Jessie's motivations at the end.
I do keep noticing little spelling errors and entirely wrong words used. Really need to proofread.
Keep 'em coming.

I really was down for the funeral part of Barry. I can see why he got the sendoff. Very sad to see . I did like seeing Captain Cold #9 there telling them they had better cremate the body. Good to see Jessie got her powers back.

Just finished issue #1:
I loved it. It's my favorite series so far. It had action, intrigue, romance, glimpses of a possible future. I really liked the interaction between Allen and Iris too, flirty and believable. I also think giving Allen a fear of planes made him very human and relatable. Anyone, just wanted to say good job and I can't wait to read issue #2.

Wow. I hit double digits! That's exciting. Unfortunately, my original schedule was going to have me hitting double digits in October, but it's still a cool milestone to hit. Thanks for reading. You guys made this a very enjoyable ride.
So issue 10 is up. I'm actually pretty proud about this one. Especially the scenes between Jessie and John and Jessie and Wally. I know I cut some stuff short, but I think we're all ready to hit up the modern day, which we will in issue 11.
Hope you all enjoy!

I enjoyed the issue a lot. A real good growth issue for Jesse.

I'm very tempted to be very happy. Alas, I feel a curve ball coming and I'm not sure how I will feel about it. Can't wait for the next issue.

Really liked the KCPD story- surprised to see Jim- I thought he lost his legs back in the wild west...
But well written- walking eyes yay (Venture Bros. reference?). Cool you introduced the son, I was just randomly thinking that he seemed an underutilized character. Great perspective from the non-powered characters. Are you planning more KCPD? or just the occasional? And who's taking the Flash mantle?
Good work.

I enjoyed #10 for a lot of reasons. Seeing an evil Johnny Quick who is more an addict taking drugs to get to the speed force. Jessie going along with it. I do think you rushed a bit of Jessie suddenly showing up at the funeral at the end end. I would have liked to see her confront her dad and fight him really. Instead of explaining it to Wally and how he killed a rogue.

10 - Good issue. A little melodramatic, but that's how young people are. I do think Jessie agreeing to take the drugs was a BIT of a stretch. She was in a dark place and all, but with everything her father had done to her t didn't ring true to me. But great job. Really nice emotional story.
11 - Another good issue. Felt short. I like how yo introduced Linda. Nice cliffhanger. Keep em coming.

That was my less than stellar attempt at Stockholm's Syndrome. I knew where I needed her to be, and I had very little time to get her there. If I wanted to, I could have written fifty issues in the Barry-era to plant the seeds, but I needed to get to issue 11. I also could have had issue 11 be issue 1, but then the emotion wouldn't be there. I had to find a happy medium and for the most part I think I achieved it.
From here on out, there will be no time jumps (besides flashbacks and flash forwards and time travel), so I wil be able to do more work with building things up. I've done some plotting and I can't tell you how excited I am for what's to come.
Thanks for the reviews, I'm glad you're liking it.

Ok, so finally caught up with Flash properly, and have to say- excellent stuff. Thought the dialogue was especially good in 11, really great how you've set up Jessie's and Wally's relationship. It's funny that it seems like half the titles on here seem to have a police angle in them. You've brought your story to a really good point and I'm looking forward to seeing Wally's journey.
I like the fact that it seems like Flash, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Green Arrow are quite young and new in our ultimate take. I like that we'll get to see them grow as heroes as our universe grows.
Anyway, really good word writing. (Everybody seems to be gaining on my WW lead)

Couldn't or didn't want to use any rogues (can't remember) so I got to thinking... What would a mad scientist create to terrorize Keystone City that would be epic for Gordon and Bard to take down? Answer: Walking Eye. And yep... suddenly all the references in JSA and Spoilers about Trip/Jr are starting to make sense now that Chris finally posted this.

#11 threw me for a bit of a loop there. I was surprised that Jessie stayed an addict and her refusal to wanna try and help due to the pressures of the legacy. I did like seeing Linda Park show up there.

I really like how we leave nods to our various titles without quite forcing others to have to read them. And I'm extremely happy to see the stuff you have me to do to show other sides popping up between the titles. Jess's reaction in 11 helped me to figure out how to write her in Spoilers 5.

Well Ultimate Flash (v2) #2 is up, finally.
It's a little short and I'm not entirely pleased with it, but let me know what you think!
