No, she's Proxy, one of the wonder twins, daughter of the Calculator, and Oracle's protégé.

As much as that would be so much better she's "Overwatch", the tumber-verse shipper girl Oracle substitute. At least for now.
I will say that if she can overcome this and become this person (who sounds so much better) I will be glad to see it. The Felicity Show is beyond old at this point. Half the comic shop round here can't bring themselves to watch it anymore.

I'll say this, I LOVE Flash. I LOVE Legends. I HATE Gotham, I LOVED Constantine. I EH...Supergirl.
Arrow started it all though so I have an unhealthy loyalty to the show. To me season 1 and 2 could do no wrong. I want it to be awesome again but its hard to do that when Felicity has become so bad and still gets a ton of screen time each and every week. Obviously Arrow can be amazing (just look at Flash) it jjust needs to take that extra step and advance away from the Felcity problem and get the hell away from the League of Assassins
(also get away from the fucking island)

Arrow for us is tragic and heartbreaking. Season one might be the best season of any show I've ever seen. And I'm putting friends, Boston Legal, MASH - my big ones on that list. It was AWESOME.
Now? When we want to say something is overtly bad we say it's "gone arrow". Part of our code now. I desperately want that to change but so long as its the felicity/LOA show I'm don't see it getting anything but worse. And I honestly hate that. I want it to be good. I really, really do.

Now hold on here, I'm not saying it's the best season of tv ever. That honor (in my book) belongs to season 1 of Prison Break and Lost. Plus Daredevil

See I find Felicity has gotten much better this season so I can't agree with that. Plus I can't take the idea that season one of Arrow is great, let alone the best season of anything, seriously, it takes until Slade joins Ollie on the island and Felicity joins Team Arrow for it to become good, those first couple episodes in particular are absolutely horrible. I mean I'd give you the season finale being the best finale but apart from that that the season as a whole just has way too much bad to be a great season.

Felicity never held any charm for me. I didn't mind her at first, she was cute if "meh". Now? It's her freakin show. To the detriment of pretty much everyone else. That's a problem no matter how much "better" she's getting.
And the show was fine without her. I read GA. I grew up on GA. I have it in my blood by this point. A GA alfred ie Diggle I could see just fine but a knock off Oracle? GA has Jax(who does crack jokes and do her job without the BS soap opera stuff), she's nothing but a tumbler stand in because *heaven forbid* there's a CW show without a triangle.
Now if she had a story line, but so did everyone else, we wouldn't be having this conversation. But season 2 ended leading up to olicity. Season 3 WAS Olicity, and now season 4 IS OLICITY AGAIN. Di doesn't even have a real scream(or fishnets, or Oracle, or BOP, or Shiva or ANYTHING - IN A GREEN ARROW SHOW!!!!) in season 4. Roy is barely there. Thea is in the background much of the time. Even Ollie has more Felicity story lines then his own. Felicity has pretty much the non-stop focus. At this point it's time to change the name.
I'm all for actors having work but that balance is wrong. She needs to be scaled back or she needs to go. Most of us learned sharing in pre-school.

To be fair, this season has Damien Darhk, who is objectively amazing.
Also Barrowman.
...they really should just make the show about the villains.

The show wasn't fine without her, the episodes before she found out were at best average. Arrow has always had a problem giving everyone something to do, I mean it took them four seasons to give Diggle more than an episode a season. But Thea's got her bloodlust and her relationship with that guy who's helping Ollie run for mayor, Ollie has his running for mayor, Laurel doesn't have anything at the moment but she had a whole plotline with Sarah for much of the first half.

I wasn't going to jump in because we're beating the same damn dead horse again, but I do have a quick point to make and then I'm out. People can argue. Whatever.
Felicity is definitely the second main character in the show. She has her cripple storyline, she has her Calculator storyline, she has her ParlmerTech storyline and she has her Ollie storyline, while most heroes only have one or two subplots. HOWEVER, Oliver is, by simple facts, still the main character. He has the flashbacks. He has Felicity. He has his mayoral campaign. He has vendetta with Darkh. He has his secret kid. He has his sister's bloodlust. He has his struggle with not murdering people and being the Green Arrow. I'm probably forgetting a subplot or two, but the proof is there. It's his show. It revolves around him. ARROW is an appropriate title.
In summary, Felicity is integral to the show to its detriment or benefit. She is the second main character. Ollie is the first, no questions asked.
That is all.
*drops mic* XD
EDIT: Like Slade or hate him, Arrow Season 2 is the fucking best. Season 1's finale is still probably the best season finale.

Season 2 is definitely the best, everything with Slade, besides Ravager, is done brilliantly, but yeah season1 still has the best finale.

Felicity is integral to the show *as it is now*, and yes that's to its detriment. That is all. And there is no requirement it stay that way going forward. She's not the powerhouse character she once was. Even here people are getting tired of her. Online you see the same, that will have an effect if it isn't already. You know that.
Pick your mic up. They need to put away gently so they don't get hurt. They aren't cheap.

It's a Green Arrow show where Black Canary is a regular but not the female lead.
That just feels wrong, no matter how much I like season one Felicity.

Okay, so I officially have caught up on Supergirl. Can someone explain to me why some people hate Winn so much? I mean, he isn't the greatest character ever, and he was introduced with the shitty "You're gay! That's great!" scene, but he's overall been a decent guy. Not perfect, obviously, but no one is.
I'll also admit that I'm lost because no one talks crap about James, who's arguably been just as much of an ass.
Oh, and Max Lord is a total creep. Like pedophilic rapist creepy. I hope he gets killed off.
EDIT: Anyone who hasn't seen the pilot, please don't take the "you're gay; that 's great" quote as homophobia. The scene itself can come off as sexist BS. That's what my "shitty" refers to. ....Although, I don't think the scene was fully intended that way, but was just poorly written (like the Age of Ultron "I can't have babies; I'm a monster" scene).

For me I hate Wynn a lot because of his whole dogged nice guy routine, firstly anyone who uses friendzone unironically is someone I think is an arse, then he had that whole confessing his feelings to Kara while she was in a relationship which was just horrible.

It took Arrow and Flash a bit to start treating their female characters well, maybe it's the same but flip the genders for Supergirl? I never bought into the "James Olsen" stuff especially when Mechad Brooks could easily play the Jimmy we all know and love. A lot of the talk I've heard about the show is that Mechad Brooks feels like he should be on another show. Can't really say anything for Winn, other than echo what Elec said. I feel like he's one of those characters that you just wanna ask the writers "who the hell did you meet that acted like that and everyone was cool with it?" Somebody has to call him out.
Also, why we can't have good Maxwell Lord again? What was the point of making him evil? Other than ruining the legacy of Justice League International, that is.
