It was fine. I mean it was short, but sometimes you just need short talky issues. You said earlier that you'd worked out your own different take on each of the rings powers- in someways different from the ones in the comics- I'm assuming? Will be interested to find out what they are.

I enjoyed the issue and can't wait to see where you take the individual corps from here.

I'm not a big fan of the different color power rings. I'm gonna try and stay with this. Because I like Carol and Sin Toro. Gonna try and stay a fan. I did like Tomar was gonna testify at Booker's court martial .

Tomar is like that. He's Spock in this story. And don't worry too much about the other colors taking over the story. Hal, Carol, Guy and Sines Toro are actually going to be the true focus of the story. I need the other colors for background, but you'll see what happens with them.

Issue 8 is up. You'll notice that I took some liberties with the oath. I like mine better.

Cool stuff. I actually really like the concept of New Guardians and it seems like that's what you're starting to do. From what you say though this won't continue. So I guess I'll enjoy it while I can.

Wait, New Guardians? I'm not sure what you mean. And this sort of mash-up will continue, but there is going to be "breather" space between them.

New Guardians is a series that DC is releasing now and each of the Lantern Corps are given a representative. The series isn't really that great, but I really like the concept.

Yeah New Guardian feel for sure, but done better plus I really liked the oath and how you worked it into the story.

Finally caught up. As always its all well written. I do have to say that you've had the series going at a crazy pace that I'm ready for some sort of status quo to arrive. I do like how you're portraying the spectrum, but I think its a shame you did it all at once rather than one or two at a time. Considering we've barely had time to get to know the Green Lanterns, now we have all these other Lanterns going all at once.
Just personal preference here. Still very interested in where you're going. Keep em coming.

My ultimate goal is to have this be the "start" story, and then branch out, one story per color, then tie them back up at the end.

I enjoyed the training part with Tom and Kilowog. I also liked the blue power parr of the light taking to Tom and the man he is at the end. Its still hard for me to handle all the different color rings. But good job with 8.

Thanks. I had originally wanted to freeze the story, and do one issue each of the training sessions that the new characters had, but that would prove unwieldy. Instead, I'm going to incorporate that into the next few issues.

I enjoyed it, well written and good story. I hope after this arc we get a few smaller ones so we're able to focus more on individual characters, but nice work. Liked the blue spectrum creation vow at the end.

Thank you. I just don't care for some of the other vows. They seem too Blackest Night-specific.

I certainly enjoyed the Red Power Ring affects but the oath left something to be desired.

The oath was supposed to be chaotic, like red itself. If you like, I'll work up a better one.

Nah. It's not that big of a deal. The oath itself is okay for the most part. It's the "Might makes right" part that kinda kills its flow.

Very sweet love vs. hatred scene, good work. I like the cast you've put together. Keep it up.
