hmm. Apparently imageshack deleted my pics of Blackfire and Cheshire.
Edit: Fixed for now. Let me know if there are any pics that don't show up.
Status: Mas y Minos scene is done. Providing it doesn't get turned off too early (or at all *crosses fingers*) I should have Issue 2 finished and you'll be able to see the first Villain the Brave and the Bold face on screen.
Note: He's not what he was in the comics. And just wait till you see Ravager. ^_^

Woohoo! Finished 2 issues in a month (and issue 2 was extra long... yay for fights!) and kept my word.
Some massive updates to the BatB board. Besides posting the second part of Death has a Stroke Pt 1 and adding the poll, I made an update to the Cast Info to inlude villains (Supercwfan I think, I don't really intend to use HIVE so ignore the logo on Renegade, but if you want to, I really don't mind). Also, if you check the solicits, I made a mock cover for Issue 3. Should be a nice teaser for what you guys have to expect.
Please don't forget to vote. Your votes do affect the issues and the popularity of the characters within it.

Great action. Mas e Menos scene was meaningful and did manage to build up enough sympathy for them that when they were attacked, it did make me feel for them. Batwoman still had the best scenes though.

The more of your Batwoman I read the more I feel like we all should demand here presence in the Justice League

Great action. Mas e Menos scene was meaningful and did manage to build up enough sympathy for them that when they were attacked, it did make me feel for them. Batwoman still had the best scenes though. Thanks. That was what I cared about and worked on the most. Mas and Menos are basically no names. They had appearance in the cartoon and a random insert into the comics. Knowing that the only way for Grant to seriously take on the BatB cast, he'd have to take them out quickly and efficiently first, I had to first find a way to make you care for them. Highlight their powers, give them a bit of personality, let a hint of how they are, what they are and why their speed force connection is so odd to leak through. Then I had to find a way that would let someone of Grant's ability be able to surprise them. Solution? Take away their hearing, injure them, remove a bit of their twin connection... Then BAM Grant takes after his father. I'm liking Kate too. Wasn't quite sure how she'd develop even though I intended for her to be one of the "truer" heroes of the batch despite probably having the worst owner... I just hope I can give Cheshire time to shine soon. . . Haven't quite worked her out just yet. The more of your Batwoman I read the more I feel like we all should demand here presence in the Justice League Like I said, by the time the league forms, she'll probably be in her recent (or at least a blacker) costume and a hero on her own. A lot of things happen during the course of Season 1 that makes her hate herself and the entire ordeal. (The photos are the least of her worries). I'm a bit sad I didn't let her take out Grant on her own but it is a team book and as much as the Batfamily rules and can defeat the odds, Grant was not going to go down short of a punch from Booster.

Booster and Beetle have always been favourites of mine so it's nice to see the series with them in it is good.
Anyway I liked issue one but issue two really upped the ante. Good job and I'll definitely tune in for more.

I finally got to read Brave and the Bold #1 . It was a great read and I always loved the Booster and Beetle interaction. The 2 were very good together. I hope we see Max Lord like he used to be show up soon. Not the mass murderer. The good , in over his head Max. Loved the commercial at the end with Booster.

I'd like to use Maxwell considering his connection to the sort up of the cast but Kardon his him claimed. It's possible he could come into play during season 2.
As for spoilers for season 2: At least 2 heroes will leave the cast, Wildcat will keep trying to be put on it but their insurance refuses to cover him, and a Super-Chief will appear.
It may also have an evil/anti-hero Cole MacGrath and/or Kessler from inFAMOUS.

Current Poll Results
(Providing I didn't screw up the math) 1st Place: Batwoman with 6 Votes. 2nd Place: Booster Gold with 5 Votes. 3rd Place: Kaldur the Waterbearer with 4 Votes. 4th Place: Tied with 2 Votes, Mas Y Menos and Blue Beetle II. 5th Place: Cheshire with 1 Vote. Future additions:
Wildcat: 0 Blue Beetle III: 1 The Happy News: It gladdens me to know it took only one scene for me to make fans of Mas Y Menos. I hope I can continue the streak for other characters so that you're not always voting for the some ones. The Sad News: Bit disappointed that considering how many of us there are, pretty much only Jack, Buck, and myself have been voting. I hope that's just a byproduct of people not getting around to reading the issues yet.

Caught up with #1 and 2. I have to say I'm very much enjoying your writing. Very well done. Your characters are well written and the premise is interesting. I like that it's the Booster and the changes to Ted and such.
On the downside, personally I wasn't thrilled that Ted was bashing on Superman for the reasons he was giving. Nor do I quite understand how it's his fault that someone was killed. Since I didn't write that into any of my issues. I'm sure it can be written off as him blaming Superman unfairly, but it's not quite clear in the reading.
But you're doing a good job with the writing so keep 'em coming.

It's pretty much what you've said about Ted. Plus, a bit of "TV" Ted might be leaking through and he could be jealous that Supes got more attention than Dan ever did. Who knows? Mwuhahaha.
I bet Dan met the Queen. <_<

BatB #3 is up and finally we see some Cheshire action! Give me a hell yeah for Asian Assassins!
The size of the page is an illusion to the actual length. I have two pictures that make it longer than it actually is.
This issue is what starts the build towards the various "epic" scenes you saw in Issue 0 and only ten more to go before Season 1 is over. Don't forget to cast your votes. If you respond in this topic but don't vote, I will smite you. Literally. Just look at the side of the page, it's one of the options under your name.
Vote or be Smited!
Edit: I'll add a file on Patches and possible Ravager later. As for the solicits for issues 4 and 5... All I can say until I write 'em up is pink.
He's coming.
Beware.

I liked it. I'm pretty sure I read most, if not all of it in random pieces and parts before, but it was still good, especially now in a more coherent manner.
I loved your use of Dr. Mid-Nite. Definitely some interesting developments there. Can't wait for more.

Father Time would be so pissed if he thought he was talking about S.H.A.D.E. outside his contract...
Good issue man, loved Ravager- very evil Hit-Girl. Really liked the intro to the Royal Flush Gang- some interesting stuff going on there, can't wait to see it expand. Cheshire's scene was great. I'm definitely looking forward to the man in pink showing.

You two have been exalted for your votes. BEWARE OF SMITING! I liked it. I'm pretty sure I read most, if not all of it in random pieces and parts before, but it was still good, especially now in a more coherent manner. I loved your use of Dr. Mid-Nite. Definitely some interesting developments there. Can't wait for more. You read most of everything before Ted's rundown of the likely targets of Renegade. So the fun action stuff and the RFG reveal should be new to you. Blame Wildcat and his inability to keep his mouth shut. The JSA is lucky they have secret IDs at all with him around. Oddly enough, Ravager will be one of my most developed characters eventually. She starts as "Evil Hit-Girl" and will have an overarching storyline that will hopefully span more than just my comics as she grows. The RFG are fun and I hope others feel like using lesser Decks or pips anytime they need to go up against a decently equipped and powered team. Wanted to make them something world spanning and having existed for centuries with even one faction known as the Tarot Deck. The High Deck for North America, Clubs are the original mixed with first one we saw in the DCAU. Spades make use of some of my inFamous characters and random others who have joined their ranks like the "pig-faced Jack." I don't have anyone as Diamonds. Queen of Hearts may or may not be a character related to the BatB depending on if I ever claim her. They're a serious threat when they're not busy infighting.* As for the man in pink, his storyline will be fun and one I've wanted to tell almost as bad as Rose's intro. *Note: If anyone wants to fill in the blanks of the RFG in any of the Higher Decks across the world, including the one I just used (there's a reason why some people did not show or why I remained vague on others) then feel free. Just keep me up to date. If you want to use a random lesser deck then no need for my opinion. . . And yes, some do have the luck altering equipment/skills and the flying cards.
I think only the Ace of Clubs is not filled out of the North American Deck. So if anybody wants a highly ranked killer that doesn't actually work along the same goals as the RFG, then first to call dibs gets it. No Queen or Ten for Spades. Nobody outside of the Ace for Diamonds. Hearts has the obvious Ace and a Ten.
...hmm. That note got long. Perhaps I should make a separate topic.

Guess who's here!?!?!
Tried to show all heroes in this issue and the next because until the Circus of Strange issue, they'll be focused primarily on a single hero at a time. So if some of the scenes felt awkward and irrelevant then that's why.
There's two nice little cameos in it and I dare you to figure out what Cheshire was about to say on National Television.
And for those of you waiting... Jaime is coming soon. Don't worry.
---
Cause I don't want to bump this just yet.
Real Heroes Wear Pink is now finished. I strongly urge you to try to read both issues in one go. You'll get the real effect there for both the Flamingo and Lady Shiva storylines. Primarily the former.
Next three issues are stand alone character stories that build towards the Circus of Strange arc and the Scarlet Scarab season finale. The postings of others affect the order I'll put them in.
Stupid Aquaman... WHY CAN'T I HAVE MY IDEAL AQUALAD STORY!!!!

Dammit, I voted for my heroes the wrong away round- oh well, I guess it evens out.
I loved the Real Heroes Wear Pink storyline - being behind and reading the two of these at once was great. I kind of wish I got to see a full solo story of the Flamingo in his home territory. Anyway, awesome. Love how you shift between the heroes. Great action, man I love Batwoman (something about redheads?). Mas' storyline is so pain-filled, I really feel for the guy. The final- Ted vs Waller was great. The intrigue! Older and wiser Booster Gold is such a neat take as well.
The Brave and the Bold is kick arse. Keep it up.
(And unfortunately Aquaman just seems like one of those titles... slightly cursed. I hope someone can do something with Zatanna too...)

Well, MRP looks like he has Zatanna down (he should be approved whenever I hear Chris's opinion) and between the three of us, we'll have one epic magical story when it comes to Will taking his rightful place in the magical.
On topic, I found a decent replacement for Aquaman and Atlantis. Still not ideal but it does form a bridge of continuity.
And yes. The story is really awesome when read together. A part of me wants to write Flamingo's heroic origins down the line but I'd just as well leave it a mystery like Yoda and Palpatine from Star Wars.
I am sincerely going to miss Batwoman after Season 1. She's fun to write. And always seems to have those badass moments.
And for characters I didn't really have much in mind for or how to use properly... Mas y Menos have had 3 solid issues about them. I'm impressing myself.
Just wait, Older and Wiser Booster is one of those stand alone stories building up to the Season Finale. Might even reveal the truth as to why I haven't had him been doing much when he's one of the three (I count the twins as one) heavy hitters on the team.

With the latest issue of BatB, I am now about halfway done with Season 1. It's the first of three stand alone character stories focusing on members of the team that haven't yet had a chance to shine like the others. It's a nice little team-up issue that may show you why a certain young hero found the confidence to join the Teen Titans.
Jaime or Booster is up next. Haven't quite figured out what makes for the best dramatic read as scenes from the #0 Teaser make their way into the season proper.
