Hey guys. Just posted issue 0 of my new series. I generally don't like issue 0s, but I feel like this was the best decision for me. Think of this as kind of like a special features (Like The Office Webisodes) to a DVD. Not necessarily essential, but gives a lot of background.
I am focusing on the modern day, but this takes place from 1967-1989 to chronicle the original JSA.
Hope you enjoy it somewhat. I imagine it will be a bit dry in places.

That was fantastic. So glad someone finally decided to do JSA and do it so well. Can;t wait for issue one.

Reminded me heaps of Watchmen- but in good ways. Really liked Sandman. The scene with Jay's unmasking was handled well. I'm definitely keen to see what you do in the present day, and how you go about creating a new team.

Yeah, I definitely agree it's like a blend of New Frontier Justice League and Watchmen. With less blue wang for sure.

Was really good. You repeated some words like you were editing it and didn't take out a part. I thought you skipped around a bit too much, as some of the events I really wanted fleshed out, so I hope you do some flashbacks later.
Keep 'em coming.

That actually goes for everyone. If anyone wants to read about something in particular, please let me know and I'll be happy to oblige. My one goal was to make this a done in one. I don't even consider it an issue in its own right. More of a history lesson. Thanks for reading.

What interested me the most was how exactly the JSA declined in the war. With deaths and defections. Also Rex's habit and how he overcame it. And of course what happened to Ted, though I imagine that's at least one thing you'll be getting to.

New issue up. I hate getting teams together, especially large ones like this one's going to be. This issue was actually hard to get through wrote it 3 times and this was the happiest I was with it.
Hope you like it.

Not Courtney. One of my favorite characters and you got a sword pinning her to her bed in the first issue. Can't wait to see the JSA kicking some ass.

Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Ha. I don't think it's too much of a Spoiler to say she'll be fine. She's actually one of my favorites as well. But this will put her down the journey to becoming Stargirl.

Oh yeah definitely figured she'd pull through this. I like how you are picking some of the threads from your few Starman issues as well. Definitely glad someone picked up JSA.

Brutal beginning to your series, really liked it. Lots of characters to juggle but everything seems to be integrating well. I like how you and wachter are working together. My hope is that Sandman is still alive, fingers crossed.

Nice to see JSA finally getting off its feet and as I told you last night, it felt like you hit your stride in the first issue. I had no critiques this time around.

The time leaps in #0 threw me. I really would have loved to see them more in Vietnam. Or the 1960's leading into that war. I know you didn't do much with Reagan in that. I haven't read #1 yet. But I will more than likely soon. So far I like the team you have assembled.

I finally read JSA 1 today. It was a good read and I loved that the JSA only reunite due to their distant relatives being hunted down. I guessed Per Degaton from a mile away though. Because thats his usual M.O. lol. But nice read man.

It's probably rude to write before you have a chance to post yourself, but good stuff. This title feels like the most comic-y of the titles being written, I can almost imagine it in images. Love how you and Wachter are working together. If feel like you put Sandman there right at the end just for me! Awesomeness.

This actually ties into issue 7 of Spoilers and their proper premier as (semi)-trained heroes (thus why Steph survived as long as she did). And my upcoming issue that should be up in the next day or so explains the bits with Jessie.
I loved it. You're improving on dialogue and it's nice to see a story that's right there in the thick of things yet the veterans are in the background as support.

You would have had to have waited for a very long time, because I completely forgot. haha. Thanks for the review man. Glad you enjoyed Sandman. That "cliffhanger" was planned pretty much since I planned the title.

I really like the meshing of the two generations. You are handling it very well and I have to say you are writing a very entertaining title that captures the essence of the JSA really well.

I really enjoyed the aspect that Yolanda is in fact Ted's daughter . One he never realized. I can't wait to see him return. I also like the Sandman coming back at the end there. Really enjoyed the JSA coming together.
