Well I was going with a tough as nails guy who really wasn't happy with suddenly being told... hey your going to Vietnam and its not a choice for you . So he had some anger there at that . Plus he had anger with Shadow who he can't get a handle on. I'll later rework the idea into GA down the line for this.
As far as I-Ching goes , I had thought it was cleared he could be used in that role.

Read the Henchman One shot while I ate lunch today. Fun little story that provides some insight into Cluemaster's character and fit in well with the first Spoilers arc. Now if I could just crack the Ohio lottery code I might be able to afford more comics and a better laptop -M

So I read I, Lantern today while eating dinner when I got home from work. It was quite fun and entertaining. I always love me a good Royal Flush Gang donneybrook. With Marvin and his sister Wendy around, we just should have had a Meanwhile back at the Hall of Justice line somewhere and a Wonder Dog appearance I must have been tired because I didn't make the connection who Stephanie was until you revealed it and it should have been obvious to me from the get go. My only negative-this really needed another pass of editing, a lot of missing words and diction errors still present in there-Wachter, you're one of the few to see one of my raw drafts so you know I understand there being lots of fixes needed, but this one could have used a little more TLC before it got posted. -M

Seriously? I might have to go back a read it again to find and fix those mistakes. It was little things like accept/except and affect/effect, but there were a few in there at various points, plus a few other things I can't recall off-hand, but I can do the second set of eyes thing for you if you want. -M

The shoes are a very important part of his plan. So important, I haven't even revealed why he picked something like in Spoilers yet.

Re: Martian Manhunter #1 First reaction....needs more Oreos Seriously though, a good start. I like the set up, and Jonn's partner reminds me of Murphy from the Dresden Files, which is a good thing as she is one of my favorite characters in contemporary fiction. I am interested to see how this plays out. I am also interested to see how this fits in with where J'onn is in the Zeta Warriors title, how he gets established on earth, and whether this is pre- or post Earthbound and JL events, etc. One criticism, it could have used another round of proofreading, especially the first few paragraphs of the second scene. A few parts were really rough, but that one had a few sentences that were needing some TLC. -M

I probably should've shelved this one for a few more days I was just really excited to get this up. I will definitely give it an extra look over tomorrow since I haven't laid down the specific dates though I will let you know this takes place about seven months before JL and 3 months after the end of Zeta Warriors #13

There is a temptation to post as soon as I finish the initial draft of every issue I write, but I have resisted so far, and usually do a proofread, then a revision, and then a second proofread before posting (all of which for me is necessary as anyone who has read one of my unedited drafts can attest to). But yeah, that rush of having finished it and wanting to share it immediately is like a siren call sometimes. -M

One of the main goals of this title is to kind of take some of the knowledge I've gained since starting my other titles and utilizing it to make this my best title on the board coming off JL. I am also trying take the bits of critique I've received and addressing my weaknesses as a writer head on.

I really liked it. It looks like you're playing your cards close to the chest with this one, but you definitely got a nice eerie vibe, even though there wasn't too much that was explicitly supernatural. And I love evil politicians...
Since I do know you're trying to make this more character driven, I will say that I think you can go further with it. I know this is just the mini series, but I think you can definitely put on the breaks and do some more character work. Maybe have John and his partner in a diner or something discussing the case and it some how gets on to life. Since I assume that he's relatively new to the planet, he should show some sense that he's hiding something, which I didn't pick up.
Not a criticism, because I really did like the issue, but I know what you're working towards, so I thought I'd give some advice on how to get there.

After months of waiting and anticipation, Young Fuzzies Chapter 1 is out for your viewing pleasure. Jack wrote this one with relatively little input from me and deserves the credit towards developing the personalities of the three characters revealed so far and the Ultimate Origin for their fourth member (I dare you take a guess on who it is). I simply fleshed certain segments out a bit and tried to keep the comedic tone up throughout it.
It's a story we've wanted to tell for almost as long as I've been here on the board and I first learned of Aaron (that kid is adorable. Seriously. Check him out on the dc wiki if you don't know who he is). It fills an entirely unneeded, but hopefully enjoyable, niche on the board for a kid friendly, humorous title. We'd have probably turned it into a proper ongoing had we not wanted to worry about deadlines... Plus, we don't need much in the way of rogues. Still, we're going to try to keep it updated on a regular schedule now that all the setup in our other titles is relatively finished for the series.
Don't know how long the first volume of Young Fuzzies will be but we do have a storyline in place and will probably delve into the early stages of a future arc of mine relating to the Nine Lives of Wildcat. And of course the meaning of friendship and the responsibilities of growing up to be a future super hero.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the cast... Here we go:
Aaron Langstrom, The Boy-Bat Thomas Bronson, The Orphaned Wildcat (AKA Tomcat, Ted Grant's illegitimate son) Bobo T. Chimpanzee, The long-lived Detective Chimp with a genius intellect and a penchant for tea.
I'll probably create a secret files for them after we have more than one chapter up and I create a subboard for it.

Enjoyable start to what looks to be a fun little series. I think I know who the 4th cast member is from previous conversations so I won't guess, but if I am right he is one of my faves, so I will be checking out to see if I am right.

I enjoyed the first issue of Young Fuzzies and I can't wait to see the fur fly in future issues.
On a side note, Ultimate Martian Manhunter #2 is getting ready to kick off and can't wait for this issue to go up. I'm going some dark places with the character, but still trying to keep some fun in the series. Hopefully, this mini will spin into a full series following Justice League

Alright Martian Manhunter #2 is officially up a couple of big reveals. The large portion of the first volume will be establishing J'onn's rogues and allies which starts here. I hope everyone enjoys the issue. Should hopefully wrap up early next month with a full solo series to follow after the events of Justice League and Future Dark Side.

Chocolaty goodness!!! Oh what sorry. Great issue. Still some proofreading issues but I really enjoyed the issue and the setup of things to come. Ok I was shocked about how ruthless J'onn was in the final scene, but the explanation for it made perfect sense. -M

And all thanks goes to Wachter for the explanation on J'onn's actions he pointed out I needed to reference my work on Zeta Warriors as a reason for his behavior. And thank you very much for the review.
