Demon Knights #4...
Very much digging this series so far. Blood has a very unique voice and the development of Dawn continues apace. As for the introduction of the little witch-boy, excellent and eagerly awaiting to see what kind of mischief he cooks up. It was a nice change of pace to read about the European witch hunts in a non-academic setting (way too much graduate level work on the topic in my time).
Now that you mention it, there does seem to be something vaguely familiar about the structure, but I can't put a finger on it yet. Hopefully it will come to me, but I am sure I will smack myself and go duh at its obviousness if someone figures it out before me.
There were a few proofreading slip ups (unless you meant Jason to store the soup while cooking instead of stirring it), but they only stand out because of their rarity in your stuff.
Looking forward to the rest of Chaos Theory, hopefully a butterfly in Brazil doesn't upset your plans....

Sorry for not reading this sooner. Anyway, so far this is my favorite out of all the titles here so far but sadly, I have nothing new to add. 8.7/10 for the second issue. 8.8/10 for the third. And 9/10 for the fourth one. They just get better and better for me.

I really appreciate that, SK.
And speaking of Ultimate Demon Knights, #5 is up!
I hope it's not too long. I'm not sure if I let the flashback get out of hand. I really wanted it to seem like you're coming in at the end of this really epic adventure. Like a window into the last part of a huge story arc, leaving you to imagine what led to such a battle. Hopefully it worked.
Let me know what you guys think.

There was at least one proofreading mistake. You didn't finish the word over near the start of the story. Otherwise, this is the best so far. At least for me. It was when a certain all powerful being showed up that I made the decision of this being the best so far. The presence was short, but I was still awestruck. Klarion's and Dawn's interaction was great as well. 9.5/10 Although, I hope some of the people in the past would return in the future. Also, I would have liked some more characterization on Rodrigo.

I don't know what you're talking about >_> Yes all the characters will be coming back later on. And Rodrigo, yeah I know. But that's what happens when you come in at the end of a story.

Updated the Secret Files. Suggest you don't read the updates until after you read Issue #5.

Alright, first of all, hey everyone! I'm new here! Although I am not new to fan fiction.
Second: This series is amazing! My favorite of all that I've read! Each character has their own unique voice. The action scenes are fantastic and the character development is realistic and astounding. I look forward to issue 6 in this series.

You continue to maintain excellent pacing throughout the story. So far I haven't gotten lost in any confusing action sequences, the transitions from past to present are clear and well-done, and you're introducing just enough information at a time to keep us well-informed without overloading us.
Just as a side note, I momentarily forgot the main heroine's name and assumed Ms. Granger was another pop-culture reference to Hermione Granger. Obviously the naming has nothing to do with you, but it was just an interesting little connection I noticed.

The fight scene was masterfully done. Seeing Zauriel for the first time in either incarnation of the site was pretty awesome. Interested to see the next time the mystical band of heroes comes together.

#6 is up!
Continuing Klarion's story and his relationship with Dawn. The arc will come to a close next issue. Let me know what you think.

It was very good...as usual. I did notice a grammar error in the first three paragraphs where the tense would change randomly. Well...maybe not randomly. I can understand why you might have done it there, but the problem is that you didn't in other places. The developments with Dawn and Klarion's relationship were fantastic! Anyway, 8.75/10. Probably my second favorite chapter.

Continues to be great even now.
If I had a complaint it would be that it seems to be going slow, but that really is more just me waiting with baited breath for the next chapter. It's actually really good pacing and never feels rushed or bogged down.
Klarion is a fun character to read, and a great foil for Jason Blood's character of responsibility.

I agree that the characters work as polar opposites. Klarion at times seems a bit cartoonish, but not to ridiculous levels which I like.

Ok just caught up on #5 and 6.
I am really enjoying the series so far, and enjoy your take on the mystical side of DC. The characters are well done, the issues well-written, and the story intriguing.
If I have one complaint thought it is this-issue 6 is part 3 of a 4 part arc but it feels more like a first part-by part three the arc should be set for its climax, but with all the flashbacks filling in info it seems like the A plot has been barely set up for the arc let alone moved towards its conclusion. If it were a 6 part arc, the progress should be fine, but it just feels that a full story will have to be rushed to conclude in 1 issue, especially if any of the issue is taken up with more background filled in in flashbacks. You've set up the conflict between Klarion and Jason, with Dawn as the pawn in the middle, but it hasn't progressed beyond set up and in the next issue you need to have your middle, climax, and end plus denouement of the story as the first three issues have all been the beginning of the story. That's a lot for one part of a 4 part arc.
So, while I think this series is one of the best of the reboot, the structure of this arc seems a bit off to me.

#7 is up! Thus ends my second arc.
This arc was kind of a roadblock on the path towards the status quo. I hope you guys enjoyed it, but starting next issue we'll be heading out towards the real meat of the series.
On a side note, Klarion is now free for others to use, should they wish. In the past or the present. Just PM me with your plans if you want to use him so I can make sure it fits in with my own.
Let me know what you guys think!

It was very good. My only issue is, and this one is understandable and most certainly not your fault, where the hell is Batman? This is in Gotham! There are huge explosions and fires and bad guys running around and he's nowhere to be seen. I think it'd make sense in the future if you and Buck decide on a way to explain why Batman hasn't been at any of the magical events.
9/10

Yeah I thought about it too. It really didn't take place over too long a period of time. All you really have to say is he was in the middle of his own situation. It's no different than in the comics.

Aside from some of Etrigan's rhyming dialogue coming off a bit lop sided, I can't think of a bad thing to say really. I like the restraint used on Etrigan, both in terms of his power and how the series is mostly Blood with some Etrigan.

Ah, there is my Demon Knights fix. Yum! So delicious. I missed this series so much. Everything is just so perfect! Yet, MRP had to ruin it by pointing out the flaws. Damn you reasonable critic! Anyway, it is still awesome, just not deserving 10/10 (Though I want to give an 11/10). So, you will just have to settle with a 9.7/10 for issue 6 and 9.8/10 for issue 7. Okay?
