Late, I'm late, I know.
And for a short issue like this...
Anyway, this is more or less the taster and beginning for the next arc. When I get around to it I'll bound the first one up in a sub-board.
In the mean time I'll keep chugging along and try and catch up on things.
Peace out.

I enjoyed it. There were a few errors here and there. Stuff like this. "...the most popular they dubbed..." That doesn't seem correct. But as I said, it was still enjoyable. Certainly got me excited for more. Wonder who the Gardner will be... 8.5/10

Short but good. Some interesting setup. Not much else to say. Nice to see Ma Hundred. Keep em coming.

Good to see the man. Also good to know he'll be okay. I liked the issue. The Mom could have stood to be less generic (a bracelet or scar or..something) but the dream was cool and a little freaky. Certainly want to see more.

Finally caught up. Very excellent. The intrigue and mystery just keeps building. You do foreshadowing very well, especially with the prophecy that you have going on.
There's also a lot of potential for crossovers with this storyline. Not just Superman, but Primal Forces, Green Arrow (the Rainbow Archer), Aquaman (if another sea creature attack happens), all sorts of things. I look forward to reading more.

Good set-up. There were a few mistakes but nothing major, and maybe his mum could've been more unique, but aside from that I liked it.

Whaaat? In on time and before the end of the month- surely not...
So this extra long (at least compared to what I normally write) is actually 3 mini issues to catch me up to date in my timeline. I realised, when I finished it, that I didn't use his 'machine command' power at all, and there's next to no action. Anyway, it's pretty much three long scenes which I hope reveal a few things. Things will pick up action wise as this second book starts gathering speed.
Enjoy. I'm thinking about starting another title now- but I've really got to get on top of writing this one first (and ask around to see if certain characters are available).
Peace out.

I don't mind the lack of action at all, because imo it really shines when you talk about Hundred's political views and how the city at large feels about him. The parts about the free power and food and the media's theories about the assassination attempt, for example, were short but gave us insight into Hundred and the city, respectively. There were minor mistakes (At one point in the third scene you called Hundred Matty, for example), but overall I think the issue holds up well.

Yeah the lack of action was fine because you had conflict within the scenes. Each one was well done and I enjoyed the implication of the last line. It's interesting to see Hundred isn't as on top of things as we might suspect. If I had any complaint, it would be missing out on the reactions to Hundred's staff and mom to his awakening.
Keep em coming.

Liquid and Drifter have said what I would say. It is a very good issue even with no action as we normally see it. 8.5/10

You are doing an excellent job of slowly revealing everything going on in Metropolis. I've really enjoyed the freshness of this title each and every month keep up the great work.

Waaay behind, but I'll strive to catch up. This season is off to a slow start but as it goes on this season should pick up.

Glad to see this back!
Love the ongoing story, and Mitchell Hundred is quickly becoming one of UDC's main characters and biggest players. The tie-ins are great. Wonder Woman's set in May 2013 so she'd have enough of a media presence by July so your reference makes sense. It's got to be interesting to write a character who seems to have less of an impact in the canon DC than in our Ultimate Canon.
Writing was good, though a few sentences seemed to be missing key words like the verb, little harder to get past than the average typo, but still not bad.
Don't worry about getting Neutron and Automaton reclaimed. All ongoing titles got a 10 month/issue renewal for free when I took over.
Keep up the good work! #broughtbackthegreatmachine

I finally got started on this series and have read issues 0 and 1. Before I begin, I have to profess to never having read any Ex Machina comics before this...which is why my love for this title is astounding!
I really didn't expect to like this story, especially not after two issues. The amount of action prevalent is minor, but it doesn't really matter because your characterization and plot is excellent! Of course, I'm not very far. My opinion could change, but as of issue 1, I'm loving this. I've become immediately attached to Mitchell as a character. He's an interesting guy. And your plot, the mysteries with the hooded guy who can control animals like Mitchell does machines...it's awesome!
Issue 0- 8/10 Issue 1- 8.5/10

Good issue. The entire Turpin/Olsen story was great. So great it felt like their story instead of Hundred. Hopefully he gets some focus going forward. But yeah just a great issue. Some really nice attention to detail. Keep em coming.

Finished through 5. It's still a solid story. My enthusiasm has worn down some, but I'm still enjoying it a lot.
8/10 over all

#11 up. Took me ages. It's another multi-month catch up issue- hopefully I won't have to do many more of them. Hope you enjoy.

You're overusing pronouns slightly. For a few paragraphs, I got kind of confused who was doing what because everyone was just referred to as "He."
Other than that, the plot is still solid. Took me a while to remember the ongoing plot from last time, this story continues to never disappoint.

The beginning was kind of boring, but the second half made up for it. Honestly at this point I wouldn't mind if Turpin and Olsen took over the title. Not sure what that says about Hundred, but there you go.
The club scene was great and the intercutting was very well done. Keep em coming.

Stardrifter- I agree, I find myself drawn to their story more than Hundred's on the whole. Something about detectives on the beat.
Finally updated, with my incredibly late bumper Christmas issue.
Sorry for the lateness. This is issue jumps about quite a bit- hope it doesn't become too annoying.
Anyway- next issue; "Big Trouble in Little China"
